We can’t pretend to know what your experiencing, but are sure it takes extreme love, strength and commitment to make this decision. We are humbled by your selflessness to choose the gift of adoption for your child. We want you to know we are praying for you and hope you are filled with peace during this time.

Growing up we lived in the same area and even attended school together. But it wasn’t until March of Becky’s senior year that we actually had our first conversation. Chris was home from col-lege one weekend and we just happen to run into each other at a local café. We ended up having a three hour conversation and have been togeth-er ever since. We dated for three years which consisted of many dates and long talks, College Basketball games to watch Chris play, and just getting to know each other’s families.

One thing remains from that first night we met in the café is the love we share for Jesus Christ. It’s what really drew us to each other and our whole relationship is built on our Faith in Him. We’ve been married for over six years now and our relationship with each other and with Je-sus continues to grow deeper. We are truly best friends and are still as excited as ever to spend the rest of our lives with each other.

Chris works as the Sales Manager for one of the top Equine and Pet product manufacturers in the country. He has been working there since he graduated college almost seven years ago. Chris trains horses and dogs and so his job fits him perfect because they make everything you need to ride a horse and all kinds of pet products. Becky works at an optometrist office. She has been there for almost eight years. As much as Becky enjoys working with her co workers and helping customers she can’t wait to spend most of her days at home being a mom.

Both of us share the same desire to have a family. It’s something we’ve always wanted. Part of the reason is we both grew up in very close families with parents who wanted nothing but the best for us. Our families have helped us become the people we are and we are so thankful for that. Another reason for wanting a family is the heart we have for children. We both have always loved kids and have always enjoyed being around

them. Together we’ve helped lead High School and Junior High Youth groups. Chris has coached little league baseball teams and enjoys mentoring High School age guys. He also loves taking his dog “Bumper” to schools and churches to share with kids. Becky has always loved children and it seems they love her just as much. More likely than not if there is a baby around Becky’s holding them. She loves babysitting and has al-ways been a go to person among friends and family.

One thing we have been so blessed with is being able to live right next door to our two nieces and nephew. We have been very much involved in each of their lives since they were born and have a very close relationship with all of them. Not too many days go by that they don’t come over to our house. Becky has baby sat these kids every Monday since our nephew was born seven years ago. We are so grateful for all these experiences because it has allowed us to be a part of a lot of different children’s lives of all ages.

Because of our love for children, adoption has al-ways been something we’ve wanted to do. After trying for a couple years to have children on our own, we found out that it would be very unlikely for us to have children naturally. This led us to a lot of prayer about what direction to go next. We decided to pursue adoption and we are very excited about it. Starting with our families we have so many people excited and supportive of us. We have many friends who have adopted and it’s been beautiful to see their families formed through adoption. We are open to any race and culture. Our church and community is full of adopted children from all races and cultures and we have learned so much from them and are so thankful to have people like this in our lives.

A Note from Us

We are best of friends. We love traveling, going out to eat, play-ing with our dogs, horseback riding and hanging out on the front porch or around a campfire with family and friends. We also enjoy gardening and working in our flower beds.

Becky is a great homemaker and keeps the house very tidy (its actu-ally one of her hobbies). She is also a wonderful cook (according to Chris) and loves cooking and baking. She loves shopping, a good book and also enjoys finding old furniture and refinishing it.

Chris is always doing something. He loves the outdoors and play-ing sports. Hiking, kayaking, fishing, and playing basketball are all things he enjoys. He also loves to train horses and dogs and so more often than not you’ll find him with one of them – he can’t wait to have a little pony around for our child.

We both value family and are very family oriented. As a couple we almost always eat supper together around our table just to have that time to talk. We both love the holidays and have our traditions we love to keep each year. Christmas is our favorite. We love deco-rating the house and we love going to the Christmas tree farm to pick out that perfect tree. There’s not too many things better than sitting around a lit Christmas tree with a homemade cookie.

Becky is truly my best friend and am so grateful to have her in my life. Her personality is the best and I love spending time with her. I mean it with all sin-cerity when I say Becky is probably one of the most caring people there is. She truly has a servant’s heart and will always go the extra mile for anyone. She loves serving people and making them feel valued. Her gentleness and kindness also plays into how she is with children. Whether it’s our nieces and nephew or another child, she is a wonderful caretaker. She is going to be a great mom! The selflessness she has towards others really challenges me to do the same and I am so thankful for that.

I’m so thankful to be married to Chris. He has always provided for us and supported me. My mom and sisters always say Chris will do anything for me. If I’ve had a rough day it seems Chris always knows what to say. Chris is very active and a go getter but is also very even tempered – he doesn’t get upset or down very quickly. Chris is very athletic and competitive. He is always challenging himself. I love the relationship he has with our nieces and nephew. Uncle Chris always makes it fun whether playing soccer in the back-yard or having a tea party. Chris is an amazing guy; caring, honest, and always the first one to help. He will be a great dad!

Our FamilyWe are so blessed to have both grown up in a Christian home and have very close relationships with our parents and siblings. It’s kind of crazy but all members of our families live less than 15 minutes away from each other. With that said we see each other often. It seems someone is always stopping in at someone’s house.

Becky’s parents live out in the country and so it’s always fun to go over and enjoy a relaxing evening together with them. One thing we all look forward to is our summer vacation to the beach every other year. Becky has two older sisters and they all have a very close relationship with each other. We also have two nieces and a nephew who can’t wait to have cousin to play with.

Chris’s parents live on a small mini farm and so there is always some-thing going on. Often there are new baby animals to see, or a new horse to ride. Chris’s mom owns a little restaurant and so there are always new recipes to try when we go over. Chris has one younger brother and they did everything together growing up. Even now we love spending time with him and his wife.

Both our families have always been supportive of us and have always encouraged us to be ourselves. They are so excited for us and are very supportive of adoption. They can’t wait to have a new child in our home. They are all great role models and will play a huge part in our child’s life.

We bought our house three years ago and have enjoyed fixing it up and making it our own. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The main floor is open and has a big kitchen which is perfect for en-tertaining family and friends. Our house is located outside of a friendly little town and our community is very safe and very family oriented. We have a couple parks and great places to walk. Often you will see people out walking their dog, jog-ging, kids running around playing, or someone working outside. All of our neighbors are wonderful and will do anything for each other.

We live on a small road and have a great view from the front of the house. With that said we love sitting on the front porch on a nice sunny day. It’s so relaxing! We also have about a three acre backyard and so there is plenty of room to run around.
