THE WEATHER IN CHRISTMAS
Some years ago, it snowed and my sister, allmy neighbors and I made a snow man.This is our snow man, we had a lot of fun whenwe made it, because it was the first time Isaw snowing.

TYPICAL DECORATION
We usually decorate our houses with the Christmas tree or with a “Belen”I don´t know if you know what a Belen is so I´ll explain.A Belen is a group of the Christ Birth figures.My family’s Belen is very small, but there are families that made very big Belens that people can visit.

TYPICAL FOOD
We eat some candy like mazapán, bombones, marquesitas or turrón.Supermarkets start to sell candy two months before Christmas.We eat lamb, seafood …. too.

STREET DECORATION
In town and cities there are lights to decorate, there are Christmas trees too.Streets at Christmas are very beatiful and a lot of people go out to do some Christmas shopping.

In my house, on the 24th December my motherdecorates the table with some tablecloth.After having dinner my family and me singvillancicos while my sister plays the guitar.

Last year my choir and I sang in the street to have fun and to celebrate Christmas.We were very happy and had a lot of fun.

31st December
The last day of the year, in Spain, we have dinnerwith our families and that is the most important day at Christmas.At 12 o´clock we eat 12 grapes to celebrate the new year.Then a lot of people go out to celebrate the new year with their friends.

THE THREE KINGS
In Spain, the most important party forchildren is the 6th January when the Three Kings bring us presents.The 5th January in the streets there is a parade where the kings throw some candy and the children pick it up.
