The Longest Night Thurs., Dec. 21, 7 PM at Trinity For some, Christmas brings sadness instead of joy–a season of darkness arising because of grief, depression, isolation, trauma, and physical or mental illness. “The Longest Night” is a worship service for those touched by the darkness this year. Music, lament, prayers, and reflection will gently accompany us in the darkness.
Christmas Décor: THANK YOU! Thank you to Julie Johnson and Pam Steberl and their teams for their hard work decorating the Trinity sanctuary and narthex for Christmas!
Neighbors in Need: Two Ways to Help Out 1. Laundry Truck hosts: work a
three hour shift at 11 AM or 1 PM on Saturdays to help monitor the parking lot, visit with our homeless neighbors, and guide them in proper protocol as they await a shower. You will team up with experienced volunteers to start.
2. Volunteers for Saturday, December 30. More volunteers are needed to prepare and serve food.

Assisting Minster & Lector Training Thurs., Jan. 11, 6:30 PM at Trinity All current and prospective Lectors and Assisting Minsters are highly encouraged to attend this training session with Pastor Red and Trish Feaster if they couldn’t make the December date.
TLC Constitution Forums Sundays, Jan. 7 & 14, 9 & 10:30 AM at Trinity The Congregation Council will hold several forums giving an overview of proposed Constitutional changes and answer any questions that may arise. The congregation will vote on the proposal at a special meeting on Sunday, January 21 at Noon.

New Years Interfaith Game Night & Potluck Sun., Dec. 31, 6-9 PM at Pointe of Grace Join with members of the Islamic Committee of Mukilteo for a fun evening of games and food. The evening is capped off with a brief service at around 8:45 PM and celebration of the New York new year at 9 PM. Bring games and food (vegetarian & seafood only) to share. All are welcome!

Faith Formation
WAY Student Ministries WAY Student Ministry Gift Exchange & Caroling – Sunday, December 17. Meet at 3 PM in
Youth Room. Bring a white elephant gift, $10 or less wrapped. Finished by 9 PM.
Young Adult Christmas Party for ages 18-25 is Friday, December 22 at the LOFT (house next to
Trinity, follow the Christmas Lights). Party runs from 8—11 PM and includes food, pillow polo and lots of conversation.
NET (high school, grades 9–12) — Sundays from 6–8 PM at Trinity. Caroling today, 12/17, see above. No meeting
12/24 or 12/31. Will return 1/7.
ZOE (middle school, grades 7 & 8) — Mondays from 7–8:30 PM at Trinity. No meeting 12/18, 12/25, 1/1.
Will return 1/8. Part of the Affirmation of Baptism (confirmation) process.
High School Winter Retreat – January 26-28, 2018 at Camp Casey on Whidbey Island. Registration open now.
The theme is “Follow Me” with guest speaker Jamie Richards! $130 registration fee & form due by January 7 to get
your t-shirt size. Forms available on the WAY bulletin board across from the elevator on the main floor at Trinity.

Godly Play Sunday School at Pointe of Grace Godly Play is a Montessori-based interactive and imaginative way of presenting scripture stories to children. Join us each Sunday at Pointe of Grace at 11 AM.
Godly play is for children from preschool through elementary grades. The children engage with sacred stories, parables, the actions of worship, and the attentiveness of prayer. They listen, watch, wonder out loud and silently, and respond with their own expressions of meaning through music and the arts.
