Dear Parents, Carers and Staff,
Once a year the School Council invites the members of the community to attend a meeting. In this instance the meeting will be open to interested parties on Wednesday 1 December at 3.15pm. The meeting will be held in the school library and the following items will be on the agenda:
Homework Policy– response to the draft copy
Schedule of Fees and Charges for 2022
Terms of Reference response – the conditions under which the Council operates
Preliminary 2022 cash budget

Students are to arrive at school between 8:30am and 8:45am.
The school day begins at 8:45am.
After 8:45am the student is deemed to be late and must go to the front office for a late note.

Swan View Primary School’s end of year Christmas gathering for
2021 will be held on Friday 10 December.
Arrival time: 5.00pm
Singing starts: 5.30pm
Finishes around: 7.00pm
We will hold our sing-a-long on the grassed area
running down along C Block. We held it there last
year and it worked well.
The P & C will hold the sausage sizzle, with cold drinks so that we
can all enjoy a picnic dinner. Don’t forget to bring a rug to sit on
so that you can enjoy a lovely evening under the shady trees.

Swan Environmental Art Awards
Congratulations to Mia Tims-Blacklock and Ella Nind whose work was selected for the Swan Environmental Art Project and well done to Princess Unyatao for Highly Commended. The theme was "Heal Country". Winners received an $80 Gift Voucher for Jacksons Drawing Supplies. The artworks will be enlarged onto banners and displayed in the City of Swan. The location for the banners will be Midland (Old Great Northern Highway) and Gidgegannup (Toodyay Rd) from Saturday 30 October until 18 December.

The children in EC5 made their own butterflies while learning
about insects and symmetry as part
of their Inquiry Learning
Once again this year our school is participating in Jump Rope for Heart– a fantastic physical activity and fundraising program by the Heart Foundation.
Jump Rope for Heart is a great way for your child to keep fit and learn new skills but it also helps raise funds for vital heart research and education programs.
Are you getting ready to do a spring clean before Christmas? Do you have any toys/clothes/household good etc that you no longer need? Please consider donating them to the P & C. We will be holding a stall at the Car Boot Sale. All items will be a gold coin donation and all profits will go back into the school.
Items can be left in the office. Thank you for supporting the P & C Don’t forget to come down and grab a bargain. SATURDAY 4 December Sellers $10 per bay– set up 7am. Please call 9257 0400 to reserve a spot.
