Preparation:Paint the backs of all houses the same color as the front1

All snow and glitter will be added at the end of all paintingAll Chimneys:• Paint with Rouge.• Paint lines with Antique White.• Shade bricks with Lamp Black.

Painting Instructions:Dark Grey House:• Basecoat front and back with Relic.• Basecoat roof with Carbon.• Shade the blue with Lamp Black.• Drybrush Lt Buttermilk in the area for the snow-man, larger than the snowman.• Paint snowman with Antique White.• Lightly stipple with White.• Brush cheeks with Calico Red.• Paint nose with Persimmon.• Dot eyes and paint hat with Lamp Black.• Paint hat band with Calico Red.• Paint arms with Milk Chocolate.• Highlight arms with Antique White.• Paint scarf with Calico Red.• Paint tree trunk with Milk Chocolate.• Paint needles in layers, 1st-Hauser Dark Green, 2nd-Lt Avocado, 3rd- Snow White.• Add Moon Yellow Dots.• Paint all windows and door with Lamp Black.• Paint the pane lines with Antique White.• Paint candle sticks with Antique White.• Add Calico Red lines to candle sticks.• Dry brush the fl ame area with Antique White.• Paint the fl ames with Moon Yellow.• Paint the ribbon with Calico Red.• Stipple the wreaths in layers: 1st- Light Avocado, 2nd-Moon Yellow.• Add Calico Red dots.• Paint Santa’s face and beard with Antique White.• Paint nose with Calico Red and paint the coat.• Paint the belt with Lamp Black and dot the eyes.• Highlight belt with Snow White.• Stipple Snow White around face and top of hat.• Use the liner brush to pull out whiskers with Snow White.• Paint the reindeer and logs with Antique White.• Shade with Milk Chocolate.• Use Traditional Burnt Umber to pull down lines on reindeer and paint the circles on logs.• Paint reindeers nose and dot eye with Lamp Black.• Paint antlers, ears, and tail with Antique White.

Yellow House:• Paint roof with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Paint the house with Antique Gold.• Shade house with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Paint the windows and door with Lamp Black.• Paint the pane lines with Antique Gold and frame around the door.• Add some light Snow White lines on the door.• Paint the wreaths in layers: 1st-Hauser Dark Green, 2nd-Ltght Avocado, 3rd- Hauser Lt Green, 4th- Snow White.• Add Calico Red dots and bows.• Paint the rope lights with Hauser Dark Green.• Use palette colors to paint the lights.• Paint the sleigh with Calico Red.• Paint the line at the top edge of sleigh with An-tique White.• Paint the runners with Lamp Black.• Highlight with Snow White.• Paint the tree trunk with Milk Chocolate.• Paint needles/limbs in layers, 1st-Hauser Dark Green, 2nd-Lt Avocado, 3rd- Snow White.

Green House:• Paint the house with New Life.• Shade house with Hauser Dark Green.• When paint is dry, rub with Americana Décor Crème Wax - Golden Brown. Wipe off excess with cloth. Let dry. This will age the house.• Paint the roofs with Hauser Dark Green• Add some light lines on the roofs with Hauser Lt Green.• Paint the door and frame around the window with Lamp Black.• Dry brush a little Antique White on the bottom of the door to highlight.• Paint the window on door and the big window with Antique Gold.• Shade with gold Milk Chocolate. Deepen the cor-ners with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Dry Brush the center with Moon Yellow.• Paint the candles in the top window with Blue Haze Light.• Paint the lines with Snow White.• Dry brush the fl ame area with Snow White.• Paint the fl ames with Moon Yellow.• Paint the shudders with Antique White.• Shade with Milk Chocolate.• Outline with Lamp Black and paint the stars.• Paint the pine under with window the same as the tree above.• Paint the bow with Calico Red.• Shade with a touch of Lamp Black.• Paint the candle stick in door with Hauser Lt Green.• Paint the dots with Hauser Dark Green.• Paint the fl ame the same as in the window.• Paint the columns with Lt Buttermilk.• Shade with Milk Chocolate.• Paint the stripes with Calico Red.• Paint the planter box with Antique White.• Shade and paint lines with Milk Chocolate.• Paint the stem with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Stipple the greenery in layers: 1st-Hauser Dark Green, 2nd-Lt Avocado, 3rd- Snow White.• Add Calico Red, Moor Yellow, and Snow White dots.• Basecoat the soldier face and hands with Antique White.• Paint cheeks with Calico Red and paint suit.• Paint hat with Black.• Paint hat band with Antique Gold.• Paint tassel with Calico Red.

• Paint Antique Gold stripes on top of shoulders and on cuffs.• Paint shoes with Lamp Black.• Paint the big X on coat with Snow White and dot the buttons.

Tan House:• Basecoat roof with Relic.• Shade with Lamp Black.• Paint the dormers and house with Primitive. Let dry.• Rub with Americana Décor Crème Wax - Golden Brown on Primitive paint. Remove excess with cloth. Let dry.• Basecoat the roof on dormers with Antique White.• Highlight the dormers roof with Lt Buttermilk.• Shade the dormers and house with Milk Chocolate and then deepen with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Turn the brush on the chisel edge and pull down some line on the house.• Paint the windows with Lamp Black.• Paint the panes lines with Antique White.• Paint the candle sticks with Antique White.• Paint the stripes with Calico Red.• Dry brush Antique White in the fl ame area. Paint the fl ame with Moon Yellow.• Paint the boxes under the windows with Lt But-termilk.• Shade with Milk Chocolate.• Paint the lines with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Paint the pine in layers: 1st-Hauser Dark Green, 2nd-Ltght Avocado, 3rd- Hauser Lt Green, 4th- Snow White.• Add Calico Red dots and bows.• Paint the door with Lt Buttermilk.• Shade with Milk Chocolate. Deepening shading and paint lines with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Paint the door frame with Relic.• Paint the glass with Grey Sky.• Shade with Relic. • Dry brush the center with White.• Paint the detail with Relic.• Paint the door knob with Lamp Black.• Paint fence post with Milk Chocolate.• Shade with Traditional Burnt Umber.• Paint lines with Lamp Black.• Paint the garland on door and fence with a small stencil brush: 1st-Hauser Dark Green, 2nd-Ltght Avocado, 3rd- Hauser Lt Green, 4th- Snow White.• Add Red and Yellow dots to the garland over the

door.• Paint the tree trunk with Milk Chocolate.• Use the same palette colors for tree. I used a Shader brush and pressed down and lifted for the tree branches. Reloading with each color.• Basecoat the sign with Blue Haze Lt.• Shade with Relic.• Paint the snowmen faces with Antique White.• Stipple with Snow White.• dry brush the cheeks with Calico Red.• Paint noses with Persimmon.• Dot eyes and paint hat with Lamp Black.• Add Snow White dots in the sky.

Finishing:All Houses: Spatter all houses with Snow White. Let dry.Dab Snow White on for snow. Let dry. Paint on Star Lite Varnish over the snow or/any areas you want sparkle, sprinkle with Glamour Dust. Let dry. Finish with several light coats of DecoArt Acrylic Spray Sealer/Finisher – Matte.
