GLOCAL MISSIONS

ANGEL TREE MINISTRY

Collection Day - December 16th

We are collecting items for senior adults in our

community. Please help this ministry be a success by

taking a flyer off the Angel Tree Table in the main

hallway and purchasing the items on the list. Please

do not wrap the gifts. They will be sorted and

delivered to area nursing homes the week of

December 17th. If you have any questions, please

contact Steve Capps at [email protected] or

Brenda Capps at [email protected].

LOTTIE MOON

CHRISTMAS OFFERING

CBC Goal: $13,000

Received to Date: $6,402

The Lottie Moon Christmas offering (LMCO) is named for Lottie Moon, a

missionary to China whose letters pleading for mission support still resonate

today. She died December 24, 1912, after living a life of total sacrifice to God

and the people of China. The LMCO provides critical funding for international

missions efforts, allowing Southern Baptists to send and equip missionaries

across the globe. Every dollar we give goes to further the Good News of Jesus

Christ around the world.

LOTTIE MOON POST OFFICE

OPEN FOR BUSINESS!

“Mail” your Christmas cards addressed to other church

members through the Lottie Moon Post Office. There

is a table for cards with a drop-box for money located in

the main hallway. The “Post Office” will be open

through December 23rd. Please alphabetize your cards

and put the whole name on the envelope (ie: John &

Betsy Hancock). All proceeds will be given to the Lottie

Moon Offering for International Missions. A donation of

25¢ per card is requested. Cards will not be hand

delivered, so please stop by and “check your mail.”

BLOOD DRIVE

Tuesday, December 18th

2:30 - 7:00 p.m.

In The

Family Life Center

There is a sign up sheet at the Connection Center in the

main hallway. Appointments are greatly appreciated;

however, walk-ins are welcome.

YOUTH MINISTRY: JB Bowen
