EAS - Chubb’s Online Enrollment System

Introduction What is the enrollment system?

Chubb’s enrollment system provides a fast and easy way for agency employees to obtain User IDs for Chubb’s secure Internet platform, @chubb.

Each agency will designate one or more Agency Administrators who will have the authority to request new User IDs, revoke existing IDs and perform other User ID maintenance functions.

This guide explains and illustrates each of the User ID enrollment functions to which the Agency Administrator(s) has/have access.

How does the enrollment process work?

When the Agency Administrator requests a User ID via the Online Enrollment system, a message is sent to the local Chubb branch office, where the Marketing or Branch Assistant will obtain the necessary approval. Approvals typically take two business days, and are confirmed via a return email to the Agency Administrator with the new user’s ID. A separate email is sent to the new user that contains the password required for system access.

The Agency Administrator also has authority for revoking User IDs when individuals leave the agency. This takes effect immediately and is an important aspect of the Agency Administrator’s responsibility.

Access What does the @chubb platform allow your agency employees to access?

All User Types have access to: • Claims Applications (including Claim Details, Claim Check, and Report a Claim) • Personal Lines marketing and sales resources • Commercial Lines marketing and sales resources

Accounting Specialists have access to: • Business/Personal Policy Details • Commercial Direct Bill • Commercial/Personal Monthly Commission Statements • Direct Deposit of Commissions • My Clients (Personal Lines)

Agency Claims Contacts have access to: • PL Claims Activity via “My Alerts” • Personal Policy Details via “My Policies” • My Clients (Personal Lines)

Getting Started In order for individuals at your agency to access the @chubb application, they must have a user ID and password. Management of new and existing users can be done via Chubb’s Online Enrollment System, EAS. The following pages include step-by-step details regarding how to use the application.

Login: From your browser, navigate to: www.chubb.com/@chubb

1. Enter your ID and password and click

2. If this is the first time you are accessing the system, you will be asked to create a password and complete your registration. You will also have a one-time opportunity to change your user name.

3. Once you have updated your profile, you will be asked to log in again. 4. Once you have successfully logged in, you can access the EAS - Enrollment system from

the top menu under “Administration.”

5. After clicking on this link, you will see a listing of the current users for your agency and at the bottom of the page three buttons to: Request a new user, Update User, or Revoke User (s).

Requesting a New User

1. First, click 2. Enter the user’s Name, Email address, and Business City and State.

3. Select the Role(s) required for the user in the “Assign” column. At least one role must be selected:

Note: Multiple Personal Lines roles cannot be selected for the same person. Clicking

provides an online description of each role. This can help you decide which role(s) to assign a new user.

4. Select Producer Code(s) for the user in the “Assign” Column. At least one Producer Code must be selected. You may select “All” to select all producer numbers or “None” to clear all checkboxes. To "unselect" a producer code, simply click in the checkbox already checked.

5. Click on the next screen to display a list of users including the one just added.

6. Within two business days, you will receive an email from the branch containing the user ID for the requested user. The new user will receive a separate email with their new password.

Note: As the administrator, you can see a list of your individual users and the status of a recent request on the main menu page.

Updating a User By clicking the “Update User” button from the main page, agency admins have the ability to update user Role(s) and Producer Code(s) for their agency users.

Role: You may need to change a user’s role from one to another, or add an additional role to allow them to access additional applications/information. To add an additional role:

1. Click the checkbox in the “Update/Revoke” column next to the user you would like to update on the main page. Then click the “Update User” button.

2. Select/unselect roles in the “Assign” column and click “Update User” at the bottom of the page to save your edits.

Producer Code: It may also be necessary to change an individual from one producer code number or to add producer codes for that user as responsibilities in your agency change. To do this:

1. After selecting a user in the update/revoke column on the main page and clicking “Update User,” select/unselect rows in the “Assign” column in the producer code section of the page.

Note: When adding a user for the first time, the user automatically receives all of the producer code numbers that you, as an admin, have access to within the system. If the user should not have all of these code numbers, once the request has been approved by the local branch office, you, as the admin, need to perform an update to the individual’s access by following the above steps.

Individual User’s Profile If an individual user requires a change to their personal information, such as their name, they can complete the update by accessing their profile in @chubb. Refer them to the “Edit Profile” link on the @chubb home page under “Welcome” at the top right of the page.

Revoking a User Revoking a user(s) means that you no longer want this person to have access to @chubb tools and applications. There are many reasons for revoking someone such as when a person has left the agency, has been given different responsibilities, etc. Regardless of the reason, the process for revoking a user is the same.

1. In the Update/Revoke column, check the box to the right of the user who you would like to revoke.

2. Click . The following Revoke User Confirmation message will display.

3. Click Yes. You will be navigated back to the user page.

Defining Agency Preferences (Personal Lines Only) Completing this section of the enrollment system allows Chubb to send information that you want to see at the location you want to receive it. In addition, it may allow Chubb to co-brand our online services with your agency providing seamless customer service to your clients.

The following information is completed (if available) about your agency:

• Web site address

• Logo

• Communication preferences (kinds of Chubb communications desired)

• Email address from communications
