The concert will feature the Etowah Town Band, Central Harmony Chorus, and Keyboards at Christ- mas. Admission is free, however donations of non-perishable food items are being requested. The food will be donated to the Etowah Community Food Bank. Robert “Bob” Saffles, age 93, of Englewood, TN., died Thurs-

day at NHC of Athens. He served in the U.S. Army during World

War II and the Korean War and continued his military career in

the U.S. Air Force for 25 years as an Autopilot Compass System

Specialist and served in the Vietnam War. Funeral services will

be Tuesday at Smith Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with visitation from

11 to 1 p.m. prior to the service.

Marcia Key Millard, age 68, a lifelong resident of McMinn

County, died Saturday at NHC of Athens. She retired from Ath-

ens Utilities Board where she had worked almost 30 years. A fu-

neral service will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Clearwater Baptist

Church with visitation from 1 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Bord-

wine Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Nina Fain, age 87, of Englewood, died Friday. A funeral ser-

vice will be at 7 p.m. Monday at Bordwine Funeral Home with

visitation beginning at 5 p.m.

Wayne Johnny Sheppard, age 48, of Decatur, died Friday, at

his residence. He was a former produce manager for Bi-Lo Gro-

cery Stores. A memorial service will be held Monday at 7 p.m. at

Bowers Funeral Home with visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. prior to the

service.

Raymond C. Latham, age 79, of Athens, died Sunday at NHC

of Athens. Arrangements are incomplete and will be announced

by Smith Funeral and Cremation Services.
