MUSIC MINISTRY – CHOIRS We are very blessed to have two choirs at St. Patrick Parish. It is often said "He who sings, prays twice" (St. Augustine of Hippo) Come and make music for the Lord, and join a choir! For members of the Latin Catholic Church, the norms on fasting are obligatory from age 18 until age 59. When fasting, a person is permitted to eat one full meal. Two smaller meals may also be taken, but not to equal a full meal. The norms concerning abstinence from meat are binding upon members of the Latin Catholic Church from age 14 onwards. St. Patrick Parish, in collaboration with Abundant Graces, a Catholic bookstore located in Bethlehem, PA, will be selling religious items in the Lower Chapel Meeting Room after all of the weekend Masses, the weekends of March 14-15 and March 21-22. St. Patrick Parish will once again celebrate St. Joseph Day on March 19 at 8 am, with a St. Joseph Table. In cooperation with “Bake Shop VI”, Pottsville’s Specialty Bread Bakery and Restaurant, we will sell loaves of bread, designed by Baker – Brian Setlock. The loaves of bread will be made in the shape of a Cross and St. Joseph’s Staff. The cost for a loaf of bread is $8 for the staff (16 oz.) and $10 for the cross (20 oz.). It is a soft Challah bread, and will be blessed on March 19. Deadline and payment for orders is March 12 at Noon to the Parish Office.

YOUR HELP IS NEEDED!! 1. Ask family, friends, and co-workers to consider ordering candy along with you. We appreciate the sales! Orders are due in the Parish Office on Tuesday, March 24, at 4:30 pm! 2. Help is needed with making the candy. It’s mostly sit-down work – rolling the candy filling into little egg shapes. But there are dozens and dozens to do, so any and all help is most appreciated. Please consider coming to help lend a hand.
