Backgroundo I have been singing since the 6th and sang all the way up until my senior year in high school.o I was in a lot of choirs! o Treble Choir (all women)o Concert Choir (women and men)o Women’s Choir (all women)o Jazz Ensemble ( consisted of 7 girls)

Accomplishmentso Throughout my years in choir we competed in many places like Chicago, Florida, and Italy.
o My senior year in choir we also got to sing in the White House during Christmas.
o I made District Choir my sophomore and junior year of high school.

Voice Parts
o There are 5 voice parts in a choir:
o Soprano (the highest voice part for a female.)
o Alto (the lowest voice part for a female.)
o Tenor ( the highest voice part for males, if a man is a tenor they usually still have their Falsetto.)
o Baritone (this is the middle voice part for men.)
o Bass (the lowest voice part for men.)

Professionso Vocal performance: Students can major in vocal performance in college, sometimes they can be signed into a company.
o Music Teacher: Students can also become a music teacher out of college, teaching children as young as 5-18.
o Vocal Coach: A vocal coach is someone who trains people to sing, they work on range, pitch, and how to read music.
