The Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) is an international professional association with global
headquarters in Lake Mary, Florida, USA. The IIA, is the internal audit profession’s most widely

About the Certified Internal Auditor Qualification
The Certified Internal Auditor® (CIA®) designation is the only globally accepted certification

The challenge exam will include CIA content not already covered
by your local accounting exam.

Who is Eligible?
Candidates must be current members of one of the following qualified accounting
bodies; former members and students are ineligible:

A letter of good standing prior to submitting an application is required.
For example; proof of current membership by local accounting body or equivalent

NOVEMBER 2020 Course Structure
Phase I
Exam approach concepts and techniques sessions will be delivered over four evening courses (three hours
each, twelve hours in total).

❖ Thursday, 24th September 18:00 – 21:00
❖ Wednesday, 30th September 18:00 – 21:00
Phase II
The lecturer will provide insights how to apply knowledge, exam techniques and critical thinking. An
intensive questions practice weekend (fourteen hours).
❖ Saturday, 7th November 09:00 – 16:00
❖ Sunday, 8th November 09:00 – 16:00
Certificates of attendance will be awarded to eligible participants wishing to validate their
Continuous Professional Education (CPEs). Please contact the administrative team.
Assuming the Covid19 protocols allow this, the courses will be delivered ground-based, in
our Nicosia premises.
For our participants attending from abroad, or anyone who would like to avoid
coming in class, the Live Online Option will also be available to ALL participants.
Through the HYBRID MODEL, recording the tuition sessions give
the advantage of full flexibility in how and when sessions will be
viewed by participants, taking into account their busy schedules.

Joseph is one of Cyprus’ most versatile, knowledgeable and reputable trainers in the wider

balance their professional, technical, compliance and commercial requirements. In particular, he
can provide input of instant value to the firms’ strategic priority of passing their monitoring visits.
Joseph is the consummate writer and editor of audit reports in practice, having drafted or finalised
thousands in his long, continuing career as an audit-firm director in direct charge of
reports. As such, he can make a unique contribution to his trainees’ ability to write both appropriate
and articulate reports.
Joseph’s teaching focus has long been internal auditing, including its closely related fields (fraud,
control, risk management). He is one of the world’s most prolific CIA instructor having taught many
thousands of hours, ranging from the Baltics & Russia to the Balkans & the Middle East. Joseph
has also delivered internal audit seminars & training internationally, especially on IIA’s standards.

Terms of Enrolment & Payment
Course registrations for the November 2020 CIA Challenge exam, preparation courses
has commenced. Please get in touch with our administration team for support and guidance.
To be eligible to attend the Globaltraining CIA® courses and granted access to the Moodle Platform,
candidates must complete the enrolment form and arrange the respective payment.
The following terms of payment apply:
➢ 50% upon registration
➢ 50% by the end of September 2020
Participants who need to vary their terms of payments, should refer to our Administrators.
Participants whose fees are partly covered by their employers and get a discount on their share
of fees, must settle their share upon enrolment.
Fees and Discount Schemes
The CIA® Challenge exam preparation course, is priced at €600.
Should a participant be interested for the revision phase only, please contact us for more details.
The tuition fees do not include any amounts payable towards the IIA® Institute
(registration and examination fees).
Participants who settle their fees fully upon
