On 25.07.2016 the Case was started by Duttapukur PS Police (North 24 parganas) and arrested the following accused persons namely Soharab Hossain @ Saurav (38) s/o Kausar Ali of Jhaudanga, PS Satkhira, Bangladesh (2) Anufa Bibi w/o Soharab Hossain of Jhaudanga, PS Satkhira, Bangladesh (3) Akhtarujjaman (25) s/o Safiqujjman of Natun moregram, PS Keshabpur, district Jessor, Bangladesh (4) Yunush Ali s/o Abdul Rahim of Gangarampur, Katiala Langra, PS Botiaghata, district Khulna, Bangladesh, and seized 7 nos of Pan card of different people, 12 nos of Epic card in the name of different people, 4 nos of Aadhar cards, 8 nos of Passbook Corporative Bank, of Barasat Branch, Indian Passport of Hafijul Mondal s/o Chanahal Mondal of Nagarpota, PS Hanskhali, Nadia. The accused persons are the fake manufacturer of Indian and Bangladeshi Passport, Epic card and other documents. On 23.03.2017 officer and force of Barasat DD, CID, WB held raid and arrested another accused person namely Liton Chakraborty of PS Barasat and recovered good quantity of fake Aadhar card, fake passport, fake driving license from his exclusive possession.

a) Reference:- Englishbazar PS Case No. 232/17 dated 21.03.17 u/s 21 NDPS Act.

On 21.03.17 acting on a source information, a team of Malda DD, CID, WB held raid in the Hotel Nabaruna, PS Englishbazar and arrested 03 persons namely (1) Nashiur SK (32) s/o Lt. Intaj SK of Shershahi, Maheshpur, PS Kaliachak, District Malda (2) Amirul SK s/o Maru SK of Kishmat Narayanpur, PS Kaliachak, District Malda (3) Sarikul SK s/o Chowsar SK of Haruchak, Majampur, PS Kaliachak, District Malda and recovered six packets of Brown Sugar weighing aprox 500 grams from their possession.

b) Reference :- Srirampur PS Case No. 366/16 dated 17.8.2016 u/s 366A/363/120B IPC.

On 24.03.17 a team of AHTU Cell, CID, WB proceeded to Hyderabad City, Telengana and on 25.3.2017 they held raid at Hill PS area and recovered one minor and also arrested the prime accused Jamshed Alam (35) s/o Jahoor Alam of 11A/10 P.K. Das Lane, PS Srirampur, District Hooghly.

c) Reference:- Duttapukur PS Case No. 568/16 dated 25.7.2016 u/s 464/465/475/468/471/34/212 IPC & 14/14C Foreigners Act.

On 23.03.2017 officer and force of Barasat DD, CID, WB held raid and arrested 01 person namely Liton Chakraborty of PS Barasat and recovered good quantity of fake Aadhar card, fake passport, fake driving license.

d) Reference:- New Jalpaiguri PS Case No. 227/17 dated 16.03.17 u/s 272/120B IPC. On 16.03.2017 working on a secret source information officer and men of CID, WB had been at Paschim Dhantala, Phulbari Bye pass behind Agarasen Hospital, PS New Jalpaiguri Metropolitan Police held raid at the factory of one Sonu Bajpayee of Nehru Road, Khalpara, PS Siliguri and recovered and seized 2 gunny bags (weighing 50 kgs) raw bittlenut, two filling and packaging machines, one dry oven machine, 12000 pouch of spurious gutkha weighing about 90 Kgs and they also arrested one Bishal Singh s/o Lt Sivmohon Singh of Modni Bazaar. PS New Jalpaiguri.

e) Reference:- Dum Dum PS Case No. 230/2017 dt. 16/312017 uls 366/370/370A/372/120B IPC, Section 3/4/5/6/7/9 of ITPA, 1956.

On 16.03.2017 a team of POWC Cell and SOG Cell, CID, WB held raid at Durga Nagar under PS Dum Dum and recovered 3 victim girls and they also arrested 03 persons namely Alok Chatterjee (45) s/o Lt. Asit Chatterjee of 1 No. Desh bandhu Nagar, po Sodpur, PS Khardah (ii) Ritikka Bhagat (l8) d/o Lt. Arun Bhagat of 38 Bazar Mahal, Sadar Bazar, PS Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas (iii) Taniya Basak (31) w/o Sandip Basak of Durga Nagar, 4 No. Rail Gate, Nalta, PS Dum Dum.

f) Reference:- Chakdah PS Case No. 136/17 dated 8.3.17 u/s 51 wild life protection Act.

On 8.3.17 officer and force of SOG Cell, CID, WB held raid at Chakdah PS area and arrested three (3) accused persons namely (1) Benche Lal (36) s/o Siyaram of village Kheriya, po Madanmainpuri, PS Kaocha, Manipur (2) Avijit Kundu (26) s/o Netai Kundu of Sahapara, Bongaon, District North 24 parganas (3) Uttar Sarkar (38) s/o Lt. Sudhannya Sarkar of Rajapur, Mathpara, PS Gaighata, District North 24 parganas and recovered 1631 pieces of Indian soft shell Turtle with cash of Rs. 20,000/- from their possession. On 22.03.2017 officer and force of SOG Cell, CID, WB arrested another accused person namely Khokan Saha @ Putka (62) s/o Krishnapada Saha of Chandpara Bazar, PS Gaighata, North 24 parganas.

g) Reference:-Canning PS Case No. 179/16 dated 22.3.16 u/s 63/366A/367/368/370/370A/372/373 IPC & 17 POCSO Act.

On 9.3.17 on receipt of a source information a team of AHTU Cell, CID, WB held raid at Howrah Railway Station and arrested one Traffciker namely Mosaraf Laskar @ Raju (30) s/o Moiuddin Laskar of 6 No. Sonakhali, Kadamaripara, PS Basanti, District South 24 Parganas.
