Created in 2008, Helidax holds the fi rst public-private partnership contract (PPP) launched by the French Ministry of Defence. Located in Dax and equally owned by DCI and INAER

Helicopter France, Helidax provides f l ight hours r e q u i r e d f o r t h e b a s i c t r a i n i n g o f French and Belgian military helicopter pilots.

More than 20,000 fl ight hours are performed each year by its 36 EC 120B helicopters’ fl eet.

INNOVATIVE FEATURES

Training flights are performed on military aircraft or on Helidax 36 EC 120B equipped with innovative features such as:• Glass cockpit • Automatic pilot • Radionavigation including GPS cartography compatible with SBAS and MFD

The training sessions are based on different last generation simulators for:

A COMPREHENSIVE TRAINING OFFER

The Helicopter International Training Centre (H-ITC) offers training sessions tailored to meet your specifi c requirements. They are delivered jointly with the French Army Aviation (ALAT) and Helidax in the French armed forces training centres.

The H-ITC trains pilots from initial level up to complex missions management:

• Ab Initio• Instructor• Aircraft Commander / Patrol Leader • Recce • Attack and Fire Support • Air Mobility and Air Assault

These training sessions are complemented with di� erent specialised modules:

• NVG (Night Vision Goggles)• Mountain• Combat fl ight• IR (Instrumental Rating)• SAR (Search & Rescue)• Hoist

The H-ITC also o� ers armament specialised modules:

• Missiles• Gun• Rockets

MILITARY CAMPUS

The H-ITC training sessions take place on sites providing a full range of services (accommodation, food, transport and sport facilities) to guarantee optimal training conditions to trainees.

CUSTOMISED SUPPORT

DCI also provides a customised support for each trainee during his stay in France (administrative back up, medical assistance…).

Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) standards
