Methodology

§ ThissurveywasconductedbyIpsosonbehalfoftheCentreforInternationalGovernanceInnovation (“CIGI”)betweenNovember20andDecember4,2015.

§ Thesurveywasconductedin24countries—Australia, Brazil,Canada,China,Egypt,France,Germany,GreatBritain,HongKong, India,Indonesia, Italy,Japan,Kenya,Mexico,Nigeria,Pakistan,Poland,SouthAfrica,SouthKorea,Sweden,Tunisia,TurkeyandtheUnitedStates—andinvolved24,143Internetusers.

§ Twentyofthecountriesutilized theIpsos Internetpanelsystemwhiletheotherfour (Kenya,Nigeria,PakistanandTunisia)wereconductedbyIpsos Computer-aidedTelephone Interviewing (CATI)facilitiesineachofthosecountries.

§ IntheUSandCanadarespondentswereaged18-64,and16-64inallothercountries.

§ Approximately1000+individualsweresurveyed ineachcountryandareweightedtomatchtheonlinepopulation ineachcountry surveyed.TheprecisionofIpsosonlinepollsiscalculatedusingacredibilityinterval.Inthiscase,apollof1,000isaccurateto+/- 3.5percentagepoints.ForthosesurveysconductedbyCATI,themarginoferroraccuracyis+/-3.1.
