1. The undersigned, hereby declare that the named student is presently registering for the programme as indicated on the registration form with my full knowledge, consent and support.
2. Am fully aware of all the financial obligations regarding the programme that the named student is going to follow, and accept full responsibility for the settlement thereof. In terms of the National Credit Act No 34 of 2005, I the undersigned acknowledge that I have got the financial ability to comply with this credit obligation and that it is within my payment ability.

4. Am aware that registration for the programme must be done before commencement of the classes during the first
semester or the second semester for the year in which the student will commence his/her studies and hereby accept the responsibility for the payment of a non-refundable administration fee per Academic year.
5. Further undertake to fully settle the registration fee/deposit as part of the programme costs before commencement
of the studies.
6. Hereby undertake, if I cannot pay in full, settle the amount within 6 months accept that interest of a specific rate per month will be raised on the outstanding amount. NO STUDENT WILL BE ALLOWED TO WRITE EXAMS OR RECEIVE THEIR RESULTS IF ALL THE PROGRAMMES FEES FOR THE RELEVANT YEAR IS NOT SETTLED IN FULL.
7. Further acknowledge hereby that I will still be held responsible for the settlement of all programme fees if the
student (or any other authorised person on behalf of the student) cancels the programme after 4 weeks before the programme is scheduled to start. Written cancellation is compulsory 4 weeks before commencement of the programme to qualify for a refund. 10% of the paid amount will be deducted to cover costs incurred.
8. Acknowledge that in the case where I cannot full fill my obligation regarding this contract, the student can be held liable as co-debtor.
9. Accept that, if the student has paid the registration fee but does not report for the programme the fees must still be
settled.
10. Undertake to immediately inform the Academy in writing of any changes in address and / or contact details and acknowledge herby that my contact details will be my chose domicilium citandi et executandi.
11. Have familiarised myself with the relevant information regarding course content, that is publically available.
12. Accept that the Academy reserves the right to upgrade or adjust all syllabi and study material according to the new
requirements of the provider (CIMA) and / or in the event of new developments and changes within the academic field.
13. Accept that Centurion Academy reserves the right to cancel classes or a programme due to insufficient enrolments
for the programme.
14. If the programme fee is not paid in one full amount, I / we hereby give authorization to the Administrator to conduct any necessary credit checks at the credit bureau.

SECTION E: TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1 If Payment via Debit order fails, a R100 administration fee will be charged to your account.
2 The contract cannot be cancelled but can be transferred to another person with the approval of CENTURION ACADEMY unless under the terms specified in the Cancellations/Transfers Statement.
3 The account payer agrees to pay the cost of the training course in accordance with the payment option selected. Candidates will not receive training materials or be permitted admission to classes until the full deposit, access tag as well as examination fees where applicable has been paid, unless otherwise agreed in writing
4 No candidate may sit for exams / a qualification, certificate or diploma will not be issued until the full balance due has been paid.
5 Failure to attend training sessions will not reduce liability for the total cost of the training course and the account payer shall not be entitled to any credit or reduction.
6 No fees are re-fundable in the case where candidates do not abide by prescribed training guidelines and course rules (including full course participation and completion of all assessment, examination, assignments and exercises).
7 The date and time of rescheduled training sessions due to late attendance or absence is at our discretion. The student shall be liable for all costs incurred by Centurion Academy, including but not limited to attorney and client fees, collection charges and tracing charges in enforcing the obligations of the student under this agreement, to the maximum extent permitted by the National Credit Regulator
8 We reserve the right to reschedule any training session at our discretion – 10 working days’ notice will be given.
9 Centurion Academy reserves the right to postpone or cancel part-time programmes due to lack of demand. In the event of cancellation, as opposed to postponement, all fees will be refunded.
10 Where relevant, exam pass marks are set by a relevant and independent examination institute. Candidates are responsible for payment of re-examination fee under the same conditions.
11 In cases where the College is unable to meet its obligations, training fees will be refunded for all outstanding training pro-rata.
12 No consensual or other cancellation of this contract shall be of any force of effect without written consent thereto by an authorised director or official of Centurion Academy.
13 Centurion Academy shall have the right in its sole discretion, to postpone or cancel tuition in any programme initially advertised and offered, on the basis of insufficient demand. Centurion Academy shall be entitled to combine classes of a similar academic level and content.
14 The right to attend lectures and write examinations is not transferable. Accordingly, the student shall attend all lectures in person and shall be the only person entitled to write examinations in respect of the subjects forming part of the Centurion Academy programme for which the student has enrolled.
15 Centurion Academy Reserves the right to vary the programme syllabus at any time, without prior notification and without furnishing reasons therefore
16 A student can cancel his or her enrolment for an academic year programme and shall be exonerated from liability for tuition fees (but excluding the registration fee and the cost of notes/books, both of which remain payable, and default administration charges that Centurion Academy will be entitled to levy) provided that Centurion Academy is informed in writing by no later than 4 (four) weeks prior to the commencement of the academic year in question and with written notification of receipt of such cancellation having been furnished by Centurion Academy to the student by that date. Should a student wish to cancel his/her enrolment subsequent to the commencement of the academic year, he/she will remain liable for the full tuition fee and other charges set out on the quotation, whether or not he/she attends lectures or writes examinations. However at the discretion of Centurion Academy, and subject to the parties reaching agreement on the relevant terms and conditions, full tuition value may be given instead, within the same academic year, to a member of his/her immediate family.
17 In the case of an extraordinary event of circumstance beyond the control of such parties, such as war, strike, riot, crime, act of God (e.g., flood, earthquake, volcano), Centurion Academy shall be entitled to suspend lectures and temporarily close any campus affected thereby. The student shall not by reason of such suspension or closure be entitled to terminate this agreement of claim a refund, fees paid or a reduction on fees payable of any compensation from Centurion Academy.
18 In the event of the signatories to this agreement other than Centurion Academy, having completed this form

incorrectly, or the payment details herein not being in accordance with the requirements of Centurion Academy, Centurion Academy shall be entitled to reject the student’s application or to require the student to complete a new application.
19 The onus is on the learner to familiarize him/herself with our minimum standards of attendance required by Centurion Academy, Please ensure that you have read and understood Section G of this document. A copy of all the minimum standards of attendance is also issued to each student in detail in their student manuals
20 The student hereby acknowledges that adherence to Centurion Academy’s minimum standard of attendance is of vital importance and failing to do so can lead to permanent expulsion in which case the student will still be liable for all course fees as agreed upon at the onset of this contract.
Legal declaration and indemnity 21 Neither Centurion Academy nor any official employee or representative of Centurion Academy acting in his/her
capacity as such shall be liable for any damages arising out of:
22 The death, bodily harm, loss of health or illness of any student howsoever caused; and
23 The destruction of or damage to any property owned by or in the custody of any student, howsoever caused.
24 The student hereby indemnifies Centurion Academy against any claim made (whether for damages, cost, or otherwise) against Centurion Academy in respect of any action and/or omission of the student.

SECTION F: MINIMIUM STANDARDS OF ATTENDANCE AT CENTURION ACADEMY A) Professional business environment
Centurion Academy is situated within a business park and we require our students to respect our business partners’ rights to conduct business in a professional and business like environment. Thus we ask of you, our student not to create undue noise and disturbance so that good business relations can be upheld.
B) Standards of Dress Our students are expected to dress appropriately.
C) Housekeeping Both from the point of view of safety and of appearance, work areas must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
D) Health & Safety Staff and students must conduct themselves in a manner to ensure that health and safety is always maintained.
E) Rest Room All rest rooms are provided for your use, they must be kept clean and tidy at all times.
F) Ethics The purpose of Centurion Academy’s Ethics Policy is to ensure that the Academy's lectures are conducted in adherence with high ethical and legal principles and sets standards of professionalism and integrity for all employees, students and operations both locally, nationally and internationally. The policy also includes 'whistle blowing' facilities whereby employees and students may report, in confidence, suspected wrongdoings. Specific procedures include: All employees and students have the right and responsibility to ensure that Centurion Academy’s educational
operations are conducted with high ethical and legal principles. Our policy is to operate within all applicable laws. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. As a matter of policy, we do not make political donations or nor promote support or preference for any specific party. No bribes shall be given or received and all conflicts of interest must be avoided & reported. We aim to be a responsible partner within our local communities. Employees and or students are encouraged and supported to report, in confidence, any suspected wrongdoings
(“whistle blowing”). Any student who violates our Ethics Policy will be liable to disciplinary action which could include expulsion and being
charged criminally, where applicable. Students may also contact the campus principal confidentially if they have an issue pertaining to ethical practices or
conduct and are guaranteed protection from all forms of possible victimization or harassment. Failure to report a malpractice, also makes the person withholding the information an accessory to the malpractice, therefore, it is in every student’s interest to notify Centurion Academy’s at first instant, should they become aware of questionable practices or conduct.
The Principal is the final adjudicator in cases of dispute.
G) Honesty & Integrity Honesty and integrity are a minimum expected standard from all students. The Academy reserves the right to take appropriate action.

The following offences may lead to disciplinary action in the form of a final written warning, suspension, or expulsion from the CENTURION ACADEMY campuses. This list is neither exclusive and is not intended to be exhaustive but will assist in structuring expectations of Students and Campus Staff. Consideration of the circumstances of each case will ultimately determine the appropriate action to be taken.
1. Gross and very serious misconduct which could lead to Final written warning, suspension or permanent expulsion

1.1 Theft or unauthorised possession of Centurion Academy’sproperty, or the property of another student or person associated with SAB&T CA.
1.2 Misappropriation of money or property of CENTURION ACADEMY students or Employees, or any attempt thereat. 1.3 Refusal to carry out a lawful or reasonable instruction of Management or their delegated authority, or gross
insubordination or refusal to adhere to instructions. 1.4 Assault or any attempt to assault another person and fighting or related threats of violence. 1.5 Unauthorised possession of any dangerous weapons on campus grounds and without complying with the provided
safety precautions therefore. 1.6 Being under the influence of alcohol or hallucinatory drugs whilst anywhere on grounds. 1.7 Being in possession of any prohibitive substance, including hallucinatory drugs. 1.8 Dishonest registration of attendance at lectures or deliberately registering for another Student. 1.9 Dishonesty and disloyalty, including but not limited to the use, abuse, misuse or publication of confidential
information. 1.10 False evidence or the intentional submission of wrong or misleading information verbally or in writing or the
refusal to submit evidence in an investigation pertaining to matters of CENTURION ACADEMY 1.11 Fraudulent misrepresentation by a Student with the intention to aggrieve or embarrass or potentially aggrieve or
embarrass Centurion Academy. 1.12 False statements made by a student in the course of his enrolment at CENTURION ACADEMY, which impacts on
his/her application form. 1.13 Falsification of any documents, information and certificates or having a false or invalid medical certificate. 1.14 Unauthorised use of Centurion Academy property for private or personal uses. (IT Policy) 1.15 Deliberate destruction or, damage to, misuse or abuse of Centurion Academy’s property or the property of
another student or staff member, or any person associated with Centurion Academy 1.16 Discrimination or harassment of any kind. 1.17 Intimidation, incitement or threatening of campus staff or other students at any time. 1.18 Gross negligence during the course and scope of enrolment with Centurion Academy. 1.19 Gross disorderly conduct. 1.20 Bribery, including attempts to bribe and acceptance of bribes. 1.21 Failing to comply with legislation and Centurion Academy’s rules and regulations regarding safety, security and
health measures. 1.22 Smoking in campus buildings are strictly forbidden, designated smoking areas outside the campus have been
provided. Smokers outside Academy buildings should practice their habit in such a way that it minimizes the discomfort to non-smokers.
1.23 Any other offence recognised in law as being sufficient grounds for suspension or expulsion, including being convicted of serious criminal offence, or misconduct, including misconduct committed outside of normal working hours and outside of working premises, which detrimentally affects Centurion Academy’s good name and reputation.
1.24 Sexual harassment as set out in the Code of Good Practice issued by the Department of Labour concerning this matter.
2. Serious misconduct which could lead to Disciplinary measures in the form of a verbal warning or written warning: 2.1 Absenteeism, including late-coming, slack time-keeping and slack time-keeping after/before breaks. 2.2 Interfering with security staff in the execution of their duties. 2.3 Wilful non-compliance with Centurion Academy’s procedures and standing instructions/rules. 2.4 Abusive language and insulting behaviour toward fellow students and campus staff, delegated authority and other
persons such as Employees and clients of the Academy 2.5 Insolence nor continued insolence toward Academy staff/Management and or delegated authority. 2.6 Restricting output or attempting to influence other students to restrict output or stop lectures. 2.7 Placing notices/advertisements on any notice board without prior consent given in writing by the campus
principal. 2.8 Sleeping during lectures. 2.9 Negligence and/or disorderly conduct.

2.10 Bringing guests, family and friends, unto the campus grounds are not allowed for security purposes: Please arrange with your principal before you allow anybody onto campus grounds. If prior consent is given to you in writing from your principal, you are responsible, for any person you allow into the building or on campus grounds. Give them a run-down of the rules and code of conduct.
It is stressed that each aspect of misconduct will be evaluated on its individual merits. Therefore, depending on the circumstances of each case, certain of the above examples could lead to stronger measures of disciplinary action, expulsion. Repeated offences will be dealt with on an escalation basis. Learners who wilfully and knowingly place themselves in breach of the spirit or letter of these minimum standards of attendance render themselves liable for punitive measures under the disciplinary procedures of the Academy. The onus is on the learner to familiarize him/herself with these minimum standards of attendance.
