Family Life

Baby kit foxes are born in a den. They come out form their den at the age of 2 months. After that they stay near the den until after 5 months when they live on their own. The number of pups in a fox litter varies from one to as many as four-teen depending on the species. A mother kit fox usually has four or five pups in a litter. Foxes live in group family.
