NEWS: IMMEDIATE RELEASE New Acquisition and Sales Growth at CIS Company Strengthens Leadership in Construction Data Sector Dublin, April 30 th 2012 (Construction Information Services) CIS, a Dublin-based company founded in 1972, announced today that it has acquired Unearthore, its main competitor. CIS supplies construction-related firms with planning and project data used to compile sales leads, build profitable marketing/sales plans, and win new business. Unearthore, a Belfast based company (formerly, Commercial Information Company), has been a major player in the NI market since 1980. ‘It’s a case of being positive and pragmatic,’ said CIS managing director Tom Moloney. ‘Current circumstances require new thinking and innovation from everyone in the sector. Success demands nothing less. Our acquisition of Unearthore brings new services and more sales opportunities to all our clients North and South. That’s what CIS has been doing for forty years, through hard times as well as good.’ As a result of this acquisition, CIS will be taking on on two new staff at their Sandyford offices in Dublin, and the company anticipates further openings this year. On top of that, despite a challenging market, CIS have already this year shown the signs of a return to growth for the first time since 2007. According to the company, the Unearthore acquisition will make it easier for construction professionals (and also those providing support and peripheral services to the sector) to gain early and continuous access to critical information on new construction projects throughout the island of Ireland. ‘Our mission remains unchanged,’ said Gerard Chadwick, CIS sales and marketing manager, ‘To do everything possible to help our clients win new business, from whatever quarter. Our new online tools make that task simpler and more effective than ever before.’ - END – Further information: Tom Moloney at 01 2999 213 [email protected] www.CISIRELAND.COM

NEWS: IMMEDIATE RELEASE

New Acquisition and Sales Growth at CIS

Company Strengthens Leadership in Construction Data Sector

Dublin, April 30th 2012 (Construction Information Services) CIS, a Dublin-based

company founded in 1972, announced today that it has acquired Unearthore, its main

competitor.

CIS supplies construction-related firms with planning and project data used to compile

sales leads, build profitable marketing/sales plans, and win new business. Unearthore, a

Belfast based company (formerly, Commercial Information Company), has been a major

player in the NI market since 1980.

‘It’s a case of being positive and pragmatic,’ said CIS managing director Tom Moloney.

‘Current circumstances require new thinking and innovation from everyone in the sector.

Success demands nothing less. Our acquisition of Unearthore brings new services and

more sales opportunities to all our clients North and South. That’s what CIS has been

doing for forty years, through hard times as well as good.’

As a result of this acquisition, CIS will be taking on on two new staff at their Sandyford

offices in Dublin, and the company anticipates further openings this year. On top of that,

despite a challenging market, CIS have already this year shown the signs of a return to

growth for the first time since 2007.

According to the company, the Unearthore acquisition will make it easier for construction

professionals (and also those providing support and peripheral services to the sector) to

gain early and continuous access to critical information on new construction projects

throughout the island of Ireland.

‘Our mission remains unchanged,’ said Gerard Chadwick, CIS sales and marketing

manager, ‘To do everything possible to help our clients win new business, from whatever

quarter. Our new online tools make that task simpler and more effective than ever before.’
