Our customers manage many projects and contracts. This creates an opportunity to assist them by simplifying how they manage and pay for their technology investments. In a single transaction, there may be multiple agreements involved in delivering the solution their company needs to enhance productivity and delivery of critical functionality. Between Software Licenses, SMARTnet Agreements, Partner Network Management contracts, it would be beneficial if these could be wrapped up in a monthly invoice allowing for one check or wire to pay for the many elements that make up your solution.

By combining the payment on a lease for the financed items, with the network monitoring or other services, we can add a layer of simplicity to your customer by consolidating this into a single monthly invoice with each of these elements rolled into one single payment amount. Each month, Cisco Capital invoices the customer, collects payment, and thru ACH (Automated Clearing House), deposits the portion of the payment paid toward the Partner’s monthly service deliverable.

1 Credit ApplicationCustomer legal name and address, headquarter phone number, total amount to be financed. (do not include partner day 2 servces)

Customers who utilize a lease tend to expand their budget, because a monthly payment affords more solution than a large, lump sum outlay. This means bigger deals. Section 1The first element are items which will be financed over a fixed term. Generally, they include Cisco Hardware, Cisco Software, Cisco Advanced Services, and “Partner Day 1 Services” which generally refers to Partner Services which are completed prior to the lease commencement.

Section 2This section includes Day 2 Partner Services that are to be delivered to the Customer over a fixed term. This may or may not be the same as the fixed term of the lease contract. In all cases the term of the finance agreement cannot exceed the term of the Partner’s Service Agreement. However, the term of the Partner Services may be shorter than the financed term. This amount can be expressed as either a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, or annual value. It will be the Partner’s decision as to the frequency of the payment collection for these services. Please fill in the name of the Service Item that is being billed. This label will be helpful for Cisco Capital to log should the terms of the Service Items vary.

Section 3This section will be completed should SMARTnet and/or Software Support Services (SWSS) is included. Unlike Partner Services, this amount will be financed over the term selected. The term may be less than the Hardware, Software, Cisco Advanced Services, and Partner Day 1 Services but can never be greater than the finance term.

Process OverviewWhen will the Partner be paid?

For the financed portion of the solution, within 24-48 hrs of receipt of the Customer signed, Certificate of Acceptance (CoA). For ongoing monthly Service payments, the ACH is prepared 5-7 days after receipt of customer payment.

What if the Customer’s upgrades/increases the Service the Partner delivers?

Upon customer acknowledgment up to 45 days prior, we will adjust the monthly invoice to the customer.

What if there is a payment issue – say it is short?

If no payment is made, Cisco Capital can begin collection efforts for its payments and notify the Partner that the Customer is delinquent. If there is a Day 2 Partner Service issue, it will be the Partner’s responsibility to address the issue with the Customer.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHow soon after the monthly invoice is sent to the customer will the partner be paid?

Customer invoices are mailed thirty days ahead of payment due date. Customer due dates are the 1st or 15th of the month depending upon lease commencement. Funding notifications and disbursements are sent on Thursday mornings after the customer payment has been received. This notification lists the contract number, ACH number, customer name and amount. No assets details are included.

What if a customer does not pay, or pays late, or doesn’t pay the entire amount?

Short payments, are first, applied to the lease balance. In cases where lease payments are not made, a collections process will commence. If payment is not made for the Partner Services portion, the Partner is notified via email/telephone. The Partner is responsible for determining if there is an issue with the service. All late payments received will be forwarded to the Partner on the following Thursday after receipt.

How does the Partner handle any changes in their monthly service to the Customer, resulting in a different monthly payment going forward?

Customer will need to sign an addendum on all Partner Services increases. The Partner can initiate this increase request by contacting us at 866.CISCO-80. Changes take up to 45 days to activate, with any true-up amounts added to the initial month.

Can monthly amounts be variable, or different each month?

Yes, provided they are set-up at lease commencement.

What if I have multiple or several Customers under the Single Payment Solution?

Each payment will be bundled together and transferred via ACH to the Partner’s account – as one lump sum. Updated payment information in www.oncefinanceus.com becomes available by noon on Thursday Eastern Time. You can enter the ACH number to access the payment detail.

Is there on-line access for Partners to view payment status?

Partners can access oncefinanceus.com every Thursday at 12:00 p.m. EST for updated payment information. The oncefinanceus portal is available 24/7 for other Customer status inquiries.
