The project "TI RACCONTO A CAPO" is part of the initiatives of Association IDEE A SUD EST, was developed in collaboration with the City of Corsano - Department of Youth and Associations, under the patronage of the Province of Lecce and partnership with a theatrical Association NASCA .

The project, conceived and directed by Carlo Ciardo and Luciano De Francesco, already in previous years has had a significant response from the public and critics alike, managing to attract the attention of newspapers and productions that have gone well beyond the boundary of Salento. The name is “Ti racconto a Capo” because it will start from this extreme corner of South of Italy – Capo di Leuca - and because we always engage in new experiences, convinced that every year we have the strength and the courage to make a point the elapsed time, learn from mistakes, to go "head" telling a story that has the flavor of the past and the taste of a new future. These objectives will be pursued through a series of activities that relate to the various arts in a unique representation, information, historical reconstruction and artistic license, useful also to become a tourist attraction. The history, places, art and culture will be enclosed in a synthesis of images, sounds and stories. Fundamental and essential step will be the involvement of young people in the project, that they may live firsthand the work of updating and rediscovery of the historical passages, may take possession of and, at the same time, they can fully express their creativity. To ensure that this actually happens and to give a concrete sign of the organization to ensure the participation THEATRICAL RESIDENCE "Hestia Il Ventre dei Luoghi" that will take place completely free of charge, under the direction of the actor and director Ippolito Chiarello. The Residence Theatre theme will be “Re-Mare” (the Sea). The world as seen from the sea, the men and women of the sea. Water as a matter of another world populated by mythical stories and simple. The sea that hides dark secrets in its depths. The call for applications is open to actors, dancers, students in training, residents and foreigners and, more generally, to all creative assets, which are interested in spending a period of training and production. The initiative aims also to create opportunities for real cultural exchange that will give a boost to the circuitry of the national artistic research. The residence will consist of 16 participants and will be held in Corsano (Lecce) from 31 July to 9 August 2013. The work of training and production will be maintained by Ippolito Chiarello, an Artist Puglia eclectic, ranging from theater to cinema and music. In these fields he has experimented primarily as an actor, but he also practiced the way of direction and training in the field of social unrest. His search path (shows, projects, training) focuses in the recovery of public-artist relationship and generated the mode of Barbonaggio Theatre as a tool for the dissemination and promotion. Membership and participation are free and include1: - Participation in the residency program; - Accommodation on the ground; - Living expenses.

1. Admission Requirements The competition is open to actors, dancers, students in training and, more generally, to all those creative assets, both Italian and foreign, who have over 18 years2;

2. Selection Criteria

A committee of experts set up specifically scrutinize the applications received and identify the 16 participants. The evaluation will be based on the curriculum and the material will be sent. The commission, in order to finalize your selection, may prepare a practical or an interview that will be communicated to candidates with sufficient notice. Will also be a ranked list of access in case of cancellation by the winners. The committee will judge considering: - The reasons given for the application and the interest expressed; - The art curriculum; - The conformity of the peculiarities of the project, the curriculum and the real possibilities of artistic growth.

3. Required Documentation Candidates may participate in the selection using one of the following ways: - Sending the material referred to in point 3.1. in digital format to the email address [email protected] bringing in question the words "TI RACCONTO A CAPO – Theatrical Residence" - Or handed in to the hands or by means of registered mail, a sealed envelope containing the material referred to in point 3.1. on paper, the Protocol Office of the City of Corsano (via della Libertà, 73033 – Corsano (Lecce) Italy) reporting the words on the outside of the envelope "ITI RACCONTO A CAPO – Theatrical Residence" Any of the methods you choose to adopt, the material must arrive no later than 12:00 on July 1, 2013.

3.1. Material to be sent:

• application form for participation to be filled in all its parts and to be signed, under penalty of exclusion; • letter of intent stating the motivation of the candidate to the request for participation in the residence;

• artistic presentation of the candidates. Candidates are invited to send all the material they deem relevant to a full assessment: curriculum, book, information about its business, any design examples (projects already developed or proposed ideas developed during the residency) regarding the theme: RE – MARE (the sea). • a copy of an identity document valid.

4. Terms of participation

The email content material application in digital format or the sealed envelope containing the same material in hard copy to be delivered or sent to the Protocol Office of the City of Corsano, must be received no later than 12:00 noon on July 1, 2013.

5. Findings of the Commission The Commission will exclude applications received after the deadline of the call. The organization accepts no liability for the use of copyrighted material or other rights. The materials will not be returned and will be used by the Secretariat and the organizations and associations that are part of the project "I'll tell you to head" only for cultural or promotion. The submission of incomplete documentation or produced material that is not readable will result in exclusion.

6. Results The results of the selection and further information will be forwarded directly to the email which will be sent to the Tender documents. The results, also in view of absolute transparency and procedural fairness will be advertised on the internet. Those selected will be contacted directly by the organizer for all operational details. The Commission may provide for the holding of an oral or practical activity, in order to complete its assessment. In this case, the candidates will be duly notified.

7. General rules and processing of personal data The proposition of the application form constitutes acceptance of this notice. The signing of the registration forms is as liberating for the use of the materials posted

in the manner that the organizers may deem necessary for the purpose of promoting the initiative. The decisions of the selection, application and interpretation of this call are irrevocable. The participants in the selection, with the inscription authorize the Association IDEE A SUD EST, in the person of its legal representative pt, as organizer of the project "TI RACCONTO A CAPO" within the meaning of the law 196/2003 and subsequent amendments and additions, to the processing of personal data and computer also use the information sent for all purposes related to the entire project for purposes of promotion and advertising.
