BYLAW NO. 2-2015
A BYLAW OF THE CITY OF MARTENSVILLE TO AMEND BYLAW 17-2008, KNOWN AS THE OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN BYLAW.
The Council of the City of Martensville, in the Province of Saskatchewan, enacts to amend Bylaw No. 17-2008 as follows:
1. Section 4.1.2 is deleted.
2. Section 3.2.4 will be amended by deleting and replacing with the following: “3.2.4 Arterial Commercial Objectives
(1) To ensure that sufficient land is set aside, along Centennial Drive and in
proximity to Highway #12 and east of 10th Avenue along Main Street, for development of arterial commercial uses.
(2) To restrict development of non-highway commercial uses in the designated
areas.
(3) To promote the expansion of existing arterial commercial operations and encourage the development of new uses in the existing arterial commercial areas.
(4) To encourage and facilitate visually appealing entries into the City through
existing and future arterial commercial corridors. (5) To ensure that commercial buildings and sites are constructed and
maintained to acceptable standards.”
3. The Future Land Use Concept Map 1 of Bylaw 17-2015 is deleted and replaced with the Future Land Use Concept Map, as attached to and forming part of this bylaw.
4. The Bylaw shall come into force and take effect when approved by the Minister of Government Relations.
This Bylaw shall come into force and take effect when adopted by Council. Read a first time this 21st day of July, 2015 Read a second time this 20th day of October, 2015 Read a third time and adopted this 20th day of October, 2015
