Ken Zanberg, Pitt Meadows, said Pitt Meadows was the best town he has lived in for a very long time. He was concerned about the corner at Wildwood and 114B. It is a blind corner which makes it impossible to see oncoming traffic. He suggested the City put up No Parking signs to stop cars from parking in that area of the street. Staff will follow up and let Mr. Zanberg know the result. Tom Murray, Pitt Meadows, questioned Council’s justification for the costs for full time staff for another three years of the Pitt Meadows Economic Development Corporation. Mayor Walters advised that the Board members are volunteers, and it is staffed with one full time and two part-time positions. Council felt it was important to be proactive in soliciting businesses to Pitt Meadows.

Janette Sandbrook, Pitt Meadows, said she does not want to see a big box development similar to Freemont Village in Pitt Meadows.
