U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides annual grants to cities, counties and states.
Purpose is to develop strong communities by: Providing descent housing Creating a suitable living environment Expanding economic opportunities Improving quality of life
Principally for persons of low and moderate income
