Since the 2008 UNESCO International Conference on Creative Tourism, Santa Fe has been actively
engaged in monitoring the evolution of creative tourism internationally and in building an infrastructure
for gleaning the economic benefits of creative tourism. This Webinar will continue the conversation
begun in 2008. Invited participants include speakers and attendees from the 2008 Conference as well as
representatives of cities and countries which currently offer creative tourism experiences. Specifically our
goal is to identify best practices in creative tourism that have enhanced local economies. Our focus will be
on what’s been happening in creative tourism worldwide and what results have been produced.
