Backyard Burn Season is Open

Please be sure to purchase your 2019-2020 Burn Permit at City Hall for $6 ($3 seniors)

ALWAYS call LRAPA before you burn! 541-726-3976 (press 4 for Westfir)

Only burn dry, woody yard debris…no garbage! Illegal burning is subject to fines of $50 - $250

Calling all Bridge Lighting Volunteers!

There will be a work party to hang lights and decorations on Saturday, November 30th starting at noon.

Lunch will be provided!

(All volunteers must sign in to the volunteer book upon arrival and departure)

Cookie donations are needed! Cookies can be dropped off in advance at

Westfir City Hall or Banner Bank December 2-6 or

brought to the bridge on the 7th.

Additional help will be needed on the day of the event.

Please contact Viki at 541-515-8382 to get more information

about when and what is needed on the day of the event.

Lunch and hot drinks provided!

Correction

In the October newsletter,

electric fences, among other

things, were recommended for

keeping garbage cans safe from

bears. However, electric fences

are not allowed under city code.
