IntroductionIonic Consulting Ltd - formerly known as Wind Prospect Ireland - are a renewable energy consultancy founded in 2002 and rebranded in 2017.

Ionic provides engineering, project management and technical advisory services to the renewable energy industry.

The clean energy landscape is fast evolving. Emerging technologies and markets are now joining the mainstream. Right now, we support clients in the areas of onshore wind, solar PV, anaerobic digestion, offshore wind and energy storage while some of our clients are soon to expand into wave and tidal generation. So fl exibility is a key company trait.

Civil & Structural Engineering ServicesIonic have an experienced team of civil and structural engineers who have been involved in the design of more than 70 renewable energy projects in Ireland, the UK and internationally.

Our engineering services cover all aspects of project development, construction and operation. In addition to renewable energy project infrastructure, our design expertise also includes key grid infrastructure such as substations and cable installations at both distribution and transmission voltages.

The Ionic team have also applied their skills and understanding to deal with critical issues that have arisen during the operational phase of a project and have delivered a number of remedial action solutions to clients including foundation assessments and repairs.

Headquartered in Dublin, Ionic also have regional offi ces in Listowel and Edinburgh.
