    1.0 PURPOSE

    The purpose of this document is to outline the procedure for the Client to obtain a Site Laboratory Certification for their specific project within Trakhees jurisdiction. The obtaining of the Site Laboratory Certification will enable the project consultant/contractor to initiate the concrete work on site.

    2.0 SCOPE All projects having Building/Infrastructural/Marine Permits or NOC -excluding Modification

    work NOCs in the existing buildings- should comply with concrete mix approval conditions by

    applying for site laboratories certification from Trakhees CED prior to start any concrete

    casting operation.

    5.0 COMPLETION PERIOD

    Duration of this process is five working days from the date of the submitted application accepted; if submission received after 09:00 a.m. it will be transfer it next day and the numbers of Re-submission should not be more than 2 times as the applicant should comply with comments mentioned in the technical reports sent after review.

    6.0 PROCEDURE 6.1 DOCUMENT SUBMITTAL

    The Project consultant has to submit all SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS officially by uploading the required PDF documents through our by enter this link https://online.trakhees.ae/oaservices/.

    Before submit the request the site laboratory physical condition shall complies with international standard, local regulations and submitted Check list form CP-F-002a and mobilization approved drawing.

    Copy of Supervising engineers and technician (if required based on lab following type) Orange Code: A. If the quantity of concrete in the project more than 1000m³; it is mandatory to obtain

    accreditation card [Orange] for consultant’s supervising engineer, contractor’s engineer and contractor’s technician prior to start the concrete works at site.

    B. If the quantity of concrete in the project less than 1000m³; it is mandatory to obtain accreditation card [Orange] for consultant’s supervising engineer and contractor’s engineer only [optional contractor’s technician] prior to start the concrete works at site.

    Consultant concrete mix design should be approved by the Trakhees CED Permits Section.

    Plant and lab Trial Mix components.

    Required tests results for the trail mix as stated in the Green Code.

    Once the submission completed successfully the applicant will receive automatically email including the submission reference to be used later for following up purposes.

    6.2 INSPECTION AND CERTIFICATION

    1. Once the applicant received his submission reference by Trakhees eService Help

    Desk will check the required documents availability, data correction & update the

    system as following:

    a) Accept: If the submissions comply with application form/requirements. b) Reject: If the submissions not comply with application form/requirements. c) More Detail: If the Inspection & compliance front desk note any missing

    document or uncompleted sign/stamp of application form he/she will reject the submission & advice to re-upload the missing information to the Trakhees eService.

    2. Once the submission accepted by Help Desk the coordinator will assign the

    submission for review Engineer to start the technical review for the documents and

    coordinates with the applicant for the site lab inspection based on inspection

    requested day mentioned in the CP-F-002b form.

    3. After the inspection the Review Engineer will update comment as following:

    Project Status.

    Inspection, review & travel consumed time.

    Review Engineer update the system with following Action:

    a. Approved: If the Site lab complies with international stander and local

    regulation.

    b. Approved with comments: If Site lab complies with international stander

    and local regulation with some minor comments.

    c. Resubmission comments: If Site lab does not meet the international stander

    and local regulation.

    4. As soon as the Review Engineer complete the review & update the system as per

    above detail the submission will be directly send to Final Review Engineer to update

    the system by conform the review engineer recommendations of ask for more detail

    from him.

    5. After the Final Review Engineer update the submission; admin update the system as

    with fees codes according to what recommended by engineer & prepare site lab for

    signature.

    6. Once Admin update the system the submission will be send for Manage Approval.

    7. After Manage approval, the Help Desk will send the certificate for the applicant.

    8. The consultant should settle all fee payment prior collecting the certificate.

    9. The collected Certificate with approved check list should be available at site.

    10. FEES STRUCTURE

    NEW APPLICATION Fees

    Application Fee 550 AED

    Preparation of Assessment (Document Review) 275 AED per hour

    Conduct of Assessment - Site Visit + Traveling Fee 275 AED per hour

    Certificate Fee (Site Laboratory) 500 AED

    11. All Payments should be made at Trakhees Cashier located at 1st Floor, Dragon Mart-

    International City or by online payment by coordinate with Trakhees Finance.

    12. Cashier’s Timing will be from 7:30 A.M to 3:00 P.M (Sunday to Thursday).
