    The outlay for the 1987-88 Annual Plan has been fixed at Rs. 44,699 crores. This comprises Rs.

    25,042 crores for the Centre and the rest for the States Sector. The Revised Estimates of the Planoutlay for 1986-87 consist of Rs. 23,625 crores for the Centre and Rs. 16,636 crores for the States.As compared to the original outlay for 1986-87, the Revised Estimates are higher by Rs. 1,325 croresfor the Centre and lower by Rs. 116 crores for the States.
