HOPE AND SONS CHAPEL • DUNEDIN • 10 APRIL 2013 • PRIVATE CREMATION • CELEBRANT: TRICIA WARWICK - NAZIRIS

One Little Rose

I would rather have one little rose, from the garden of a friend

Than to have the choicest blossomswhen my stay on earth must end.

I would rather have one pleasant wordin kindness said to me,

Than flattery when my heart is stilland life has ceased to be.

I would rather have a loving smile, from friends I know are true,

Than tears shed round my casketwhen I bid this life adieu.

So give me please your flowers today ,Whether pink , or white or red.

I’d rather have one blossom now,Than a truck load when I’m dead.

During the service there will be an opportunity to share a memory of Claire

The most beautiful things in the world are not seen nor touched.

They are felt with the heart.
