that they do not understand 'ut are in%luenced in $ultitudes 'y the

ne+ative %orces o% li%e and they are disconnectin+ %ro$ reality( 3t is as i%they are 'orn in a de-ression and it +rows worse as they reach hi+her

nu$'ers in years( As you stated in class that day, they are

disconnectin+ the$selves %ro$ nature( /hat cease in connectivity $eans

that soon and very soon the -ositive culture o% students that used to e0ist

at least -artially, will continue to cru$'le in areas o% weaness(

and the entire Eay Area %or that $atter is another Acres ho$e 'y theeducation the de$o+ra-hics( 3 have always wanted to $ae an i$-act

on $y own city 'ut when 3 tried it there in Cali%ornia, 3 had +otten so

%rustrated 'ecause other /eachers nor the -rinci-als shared $y ener+y

toward youth develo-$ent( 3 tried to lead 'y e0a$-le 'ut $y e0a$-les

were de$eaned, ridiculed and not su--orted( )hile so $any 'e%ore$e were ridiculed they and you still had the -erseverance and the

intestinal %ortitude to continue des-ite o--osition( /he reason that 3 was

so %rustrated is 'ecause 'y $y tryin+ to lead 'y e0a$-le was not

enou+h and in Cali%ornia, there werenIt any e0a$-les to %ollow( Martin

Luther *in+ and all the other +reat activists and advocates have donewhat they needed to do 'ut the youth do not have the nowled+e

re<uired to a--reciate his acco$-lish$ents or even the +reat

acco$-lish$ents that you have $ade( 3 lost $y ener+y to -rovide what

3 had started out to do, which was to teach, so 3 $oved to =ouston, /

try to connect the lan+ua+e with the cultures o% $ulti-le -anish

s-eain+ countries, our countries culture and any other culture that

$ay arise and when doin+ so 3 also incor-orate the civil

acco$-lish$ents o% +reat individuals( As 3 said earlier, 3 )A
