Launched in 2004 the award winning, independent British music magazine CLASH focuses on underground and mainstream musicians. As well as

combining sections on film, fashion, news and entertainment. Sold worldwide CLASH is often praised for its unconventional take on the magazines layout and

artistic yet innovative presentation.

CLASH magazines press pack states that 37% of their readership is between the ages of 21

and 25 and another 34% are aged 26 to 30 years of age. Furthermore, CLASh’s press pack presents that 52% of their readership is male. Thus concluding that the target audience is men aged between 21 and 30.

However, it due to the very slim difference between the percentage of male and female readers it may be deemed that the magazine is in fact aimed at both sexes making it a unisex magazine.

Additionally, CLASH’s target audience is displayed as being avid tech users with a strong interest in music. Finally, the magazines target audience is primarily located in the UK, with 43% of readers located in London and the east of England.
