* We can see various types of plants in our surrounding .

* Most of the plants are green in colour .

* They are of different shapes and sizes .

* Plants are very useful.

* Plants give us food, clothes, shelter , raw materials etc…

* They also make air pure.

* Some plants are used for making medicines and perfumes .

Parts of plant :

Types of plants :

1. Herbs :

It is a small plant with a soft stem .

It is also a small plant with hard stem and branches.

3. Trees :

It is a big plant. It has strong stem called trunk .

It has strong branches too.

4. Climbers :

It is a weak plant. It cannot stand on its own. It climbs on to

something for support.

5. Creepers :

Plants with weak stem that cannot stand upright and spread on

ground are called creepers.

Plants which grow in water are called water plants .

live.
