What Are Plants ?Plants are organisms that can make their own food, this is because they have a pigment present in their leaves called as ‘Chlorophyll’, which is not in animals.

Plants are of three types -• Land plants,• Carnivorous plants,• Water plants.

Plants of many types have lined on earth for over 3000,000,000 (3 billion) years. Today, their are over 250000 varieties of plants.

Apart from plants they are also 100000 different types of ‘Fungi’ which have some same features of plants.
