Ingredients

PotatoesVegetable OilSalt (optional)

Directions*soak potato strips in water.

*Slice potatoes into 1/2 x 1/2 inch strips.*Rinse or *Let dry (about 5 minutes)*Drop potato strips into hot (375 degrees) Oil*Fry until golden brown. (about 5 or 10 minutes)*Remove from pot and drain on paper towels.If you’re using salt, sprinkle it now.Peel and wash potatoes.

Serve immediately.

HOMEMADE SANDWICHES

Ingredients Bread 12 slices Mint coriander chutney 3 tbsp Butter 2 cup Tomato ketchup 2 cup• Black pepper powder 2 tsp White pepper powder 1 tsp Salad leaves for garnish

…PROCEDURE… Divide the butter into three portions. Divide the slices of bread into portions or sets

of three. Mix one portion of butter with the chutney and

spread on one slice of bread. On the second slice spread the Vegetable

pieces On the third slice spread the mixture of butter and ketchup.

Top with the chopped tomatoes and cover with the fourth slice. Cut the sandwich into triangles. Repeat the steps with the remaining. NOW sandwiches are ready to eat…

NAMAK PARE MASALA

Ingredients:1 Cup All Purpose Flour / Maida

4 tbsp Ghee 1/2 tsp Carom Seeds / Ajwain 1/2 tsp Baking Powder Salt to taste

NAMAK PARE MASALARecipe Method:

Combine the flour, salt, carom seeds and baking powder in a mixing bowl.

Add the ghee and mix well. Make a soft dough by adding the water little by

little. Cover it with a lid and keep it aside for 15 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180 degree C. Divide the dough into 6 balls. Roll the each dough

ball into a circle. Don't roll the dough too thin or too thick.

Using a sharp knife, cut the rolled dough into pieces. Prick the pieces with a fork.

Place the pieces on a greased baking tray and bake at 180 degrees C for 15 minutes or until golden brown.

Let them cool completely and store in an airtight container.

Serve as a snack….

CHOCOLATE CHIP SHORTBREAD BISCUITS

Ingredients

225g plain flour1/2 teaspoon baking powder1/4 teaspoon salt225g unsalted butter100g caster sugar125g chocolate chips60g chopped walnuts

CHOCOLATE CHIP SHORTBREAD BISCUITS Method

Preheat oven to 150 C / Gas 2. Sieve together the flour, baking powder

and salt, set aside. In a medium bowl, cream the butter and sugar together until fluffy. Gradually stir in the dry ingredients, then stir in the walnuts and chocolate chips.

Roll or scoop dough into walnut sized balls. Place them on ungreased baking ftrays 3cm apart. Flatten biscuits slightly. Bake or 15 to 20 minutes, until light golden brown. Remove from trays to cool on racks.
