Instructions for the Holiday Home work:-

Note:-Holidays homework carries marks in CCE; hence submission of work post vacation

is compulsory for all students.

1. Start the revision of all the subjects as per the syllabus of the Formative Assessment 2

which is scheduled in July.

2. The Holiday work must be done in a very neat and presentable manner. (Worksheets)

3. The child will be assessed for the Handwriting, presentation, neatness, completion of all

the given questions.

4. Use good quality pen, pencil, eraser to maintain the tidiness in the worksheets.

5.Parents can be the facilitators for the child at home but let the child complete his work

independently & in his/her own handwriting.

6 The Models/Charts of EVS should be relevant to the topics studied which the child will be

able to explain.

7. Question must be done in the given sequence.

8. On the basis of H.HW the child will be assessed for FA-2 the Submission date of H.HW is

1. Prepare a small model of an Abacus.

� Material required:

� Thermocol Balls, Tooth Picks and Clay.

� Procedure :

� Take clay as a base.

� Then insert 3 tooth picks into it.

� For making the beads, use thermocol balls and put according to the digits at

their places (see the picture)

� Then, put small paper strips to label the place value (ones, tens and hundreds)
