Aries (March 21 - April 19)

Are you in the mood for love Aries? Well, ready or not, here it comes! You are theluckiest sign of them all this summer when it comes to romantic potential. That's becauseon July 16 Jupiter will enter your 5th House of Fun and Pleasure and will remain there for13 months. A dazzling New Moon on July 26 in the same area of your chart will swingopen the door for you to meet someone special if single. Even if you've been married for-ever sparks will fly everywhere! Expect the romantic delights to get even sweeter fromAugust 12-September 5 you'll feel like you're living the most incredible fairy tale possible. It's time to fall in love with love!

Taurus (April 20 - May 20)

Securing a love in your life that you can rely on will continue to be of paramountimportance to you throughout the summer. Saturn, the planet ofcommitment, has been touring your partnership sector since late 2014 teaching yousignificant lessons about what it takes to relate. On August 1 love planet Venus will be ata supportive angle to Saturn helping you to appreciate what you have. Acknowledge thatthe type of partnership in your life now reflects what you've been willing to put into it. Ifyou know there's still work to do, be honest. If you are in love and it's working then begrateful. If single, September 5-28 will be your most auspicious weeks to find romancethanks to Venus moving through your romance sector. September 14 might be especiallycaptivating.

Gemini (May 21 - June 20)

If you're dating someone special or playing the field, sexy love is yours until July 25thanks to Mars continuing to move through your 5th House of Romance and Pleasure. You've had Mars in this part of your chart for months and likely dealt with more than oneproblem in your love life over thatstretch of time. For the duration of the summer however, Mars will motivate you topursue pleasure without all the hiccups. After September 13Mars will begin to tour your 7th House of Committed Relationships. If you’re married orin a monogamous partnership you might end the summer with a heated quarrel.Thankfully, since the ruler of your 7th house, Jupiter, will be in your communicationsector from July 16 on, you’ll have no trouble talking things out. In fact, the quality ofcommunication with your mate will grow tremendously with this energy. Talk it out!

Cancer (June 21 - July 22)

Radiance. That will be your keyword from July 18-August 12 thanks to Venus touringyour sign. Your ability to attract -- even magnetize -- otherswill be extraordinary now so be sure to put your best foot forward and know that it's yourtime to receive the love you deserve. On July 25 sexy Mars will enter your romance sectorand until September 13 your sex life will receive a delicious boost. Saturn has been in thispart of your chart sincelate 2012 and as a result, you might have experienced a dry spell in the bedroom. Now,Mars will help kick start your love life. If you are single and haven't dated in a while, thiscould be your summer for love. Or a fling. You decide.

Leo (July. 23 - Aug. 22)

Are you ready for the most AMAZING summer you've had in -- oh -- maybe the lasttwelve years or so? Good! Jupiter, the planet of expansion, abundance and all good things, will enter your sign on July 16. This signals a year aheadof incredible opportunity, personal growth and yes ... FUN! With Jupiter in your sign youcan expect to forge incredible new relationships both on the personal and business level. In terms of love, since Jupiter rules your romance sector, you have the potential to makethis summer one of nonstop joy. The pleasures of dating, entertainment and trueromance are about to return to your world, much to your delight. A brilliant New Moonon July 26 in your sign, followed by Venus entering Leo on August 12 (until September5) will only add to your ability to manifest whatever you want this summer. Exciting!

Virgo (Aug. 23 - Sept. 22)

A Full Moon in your romance sector on July 12 will shine a light on your love life. Howare things going between you and someone you're dating? It's all or nothing in theromance department and if your lover can't meet your requirements, you're likely to loseinterest. With the events near July 12 however, you might decide to let go of an unhealthyromantic attachment or, declare your undying love for someone special. Much depends onwhere you are at that time. A Full Moon in your partnership sector on September 8 willrequire the same thing if you're married or in a committed relationship. On September 5and through September 29 you'll enjoy Venus in your sign. This will enhance your powersof attraction and add to your ability to relate to others more harmoniously. You might feelextra romantic on September 10. Allow yourself to be swept off your feet by your mateand don't over analyse the situation.

Libra (Sept. 23 - Oct. 22)

Use the time you have left with action planet Mars touring your sign, to go after what youwant in love and partnership! Until July 25 you'll have this edge and it'll truly benefit youif you courageously pursue the type of relationship you've always wanted. Your partnerwill be pleasantly surprised at your capacity to initiate. It's sexy! On August 10 a FullMoon in your true love sector might lead single Leos to let go of an unhealthy patternrelating to love. If there is someone you've been dating with whom you know in your heartthe relationship is going nowhere. Now is the time to be honest with yourself and end it.Move on as friends.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 - Nov. 21)

You might focus more on your stellar career opportunities this summer instead of love.Although the aspects you'll enjoy to help boost your professional life will be trulyremarkable, that doesn't mean your love life will suffer. In fact, you will have a fewgorgeous aspects you'll want to take ad- vantage of. On July 25 Mars will enter your signwhere he'll remain until September 13. During this time you'll have more stamina and sexappeal.Use it well. When Mars connects to a perfect trine to Neptune on August 7 you'll havethe potential to make a sexual and romantic fantasy come true. Love will be divine! Then, on September 5 love planet Venus will enter your friendship sector, remainingthere until September 29. A friend may turn into a lover.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 - Dec. 21)

You might feel puzzled about the status of your relationship as summer begins. That'sbecause Mercury will be retrograde in your partnership sec- tor until July 1. Thankfully, after this time you and your mate will clear the air and talk out any misunderstandings. Ifsingle, an unexpected love connection is possible near August 1. The problem however, isthat, although exciting, it appears fleeting. If you're up for a one night stand go for it. Ifyou're dating someone, you or your mate might throw a tantrum and demand morefreedom. Mars will enter your sign on September 13 and at that point, your sex appeal willbe off the charts.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 - Jan. 19)

A Full Moon in your sign on July 12 might leave you feeling emotionally sober. If there areany troubles between you and your partner, this lunation will prompt you to address them.If you feel as if your emotional needs aren't being met in a relationship, it will challenge youto consider that feeling fulfilled is really "on you" and not anyone else. Fortunately, whenVenus enters your partnership sector on July 18 you'll have an extraordinary opportunity toenjoy an extra phase of harmony with your love. This will last until August 12 allowing youto connect with each other in the most tender, beautiful way.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 - Feb. 18)

Romance might be a sticky situation until after July 1. Mercury will continue to travelretrograde in your true love sector until this date and you might feel frazzled aboutmiscommunication with a lover. You may also feel torn about whether or not to reconnectwith an old flame. After July 1 you'll have the clarity you need to make the right decision. If you're in a relationship and it's good, after July 16 it'll get very, very good. But if you'rein a rocky marriage or partnership, any problems might blow out of proportion.Jupiter will enter your relationship sector and will remain in this part of your chart untilnext year. Commitments made during this time will benefit you and if you have arelationship you want to work on, it'll be a great time for counselling.

Pisces (Feb. 19 - March 20)

There's still time to enjoy a whirlwind romance if it has managed to elude you so far thisyear. Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance, will continue to tour your true lovesector until July 16. Although Jupiter will leave this part of your chart and not return fortwelve years, that doesn't mean you're in for a dry spell. A promising New Moon willilluminate your 5th house of Pleasure on June 27. Then, love planet Venus will slide rightinto the same area of your chart from July 18-August 12. As you can see, there really is astunning opportunity for you to fall in love this summer. If you're in a relationship,September 8-29 will allow you and your mate to connect beautifully, fortifying that youcan always count on each other.

I had the great pleasure of being introduced to a make up artist lately, her name is Angie Mc- Grath.Angie is based in White gate, but as a freelance artist she will visit clients in there homes, hotels, sets etc.

She was such a breathe of fresh air, full of personality such fun to be around and would you make totally atease. I cant explain how happy i was with the results.

Angie uses inglot ,Clarins, Estee Lauder, Lancôme, Benefit, smash box, gosh and clinque. Her attention todetail is amazing. She is fully trained and constantly updating her skillswith the latest courses. She is very experimental in her own right, creative and arty.

Angie told me "I adore make up of all sorts, and take great pleasure in my art. Through post natal depression

i had lost myself for a long time, i have found myself again. The calm, relaxation and satisfaction i get fromdoing someone's make up is a cure in itself. So i thank god for make up and the art of make up because i foundAngie again. The smile on peoples faces when they look in the mirror is priceless.

You can find Angie McGrath on face book at "Make up by Angie"... she is a real woman la- dies, got to loveher ....Viva la Vida Liz

Everywhere i go people always admire my nails. I love to coordinate, i always have my nails to

match what i am wearing, at this stage i would feel naked if i wasn't wearing nails. People are in shock when they ask, "where did you have your

nails done" and my reply is i bought them in

penny's. Its such a Cork thing, when someone admires what your wearing, the reply, "its from Penney's girl !!!

These nails are a god send, and with a price tag of €1.50 where can one go wrong. 24 nails in

each pack complete with adhesive. They come in every colour imaginable, my favourite colours would have to be the metallic gold, black, red and

French manicure, but i have been known to

wear every colour.

Ladies don't forget to bring the box in your handbag in case a nail falls victim, it's not attractive to be caught out on a night out missing one or two.

SLEEP UNDER THE STARSPack rightif you’re going to go on a successful camping trip, you need the right gear. If you don’t have a tent, borrow one or buy one cheap dunnes always have them reasonably priced and stock allcamping essentials, Argos ,woodies, aldi and lidl also have great bargains on camping gear . comfy clothes and some extra layers are a must in case it gets chilly at night, plus essentials likeyour bathing suit, bug spray and a first aid kit.Choose your spot wiselyWhere you go will depend on what you’re looking for. You can use Google search page to search parks caves, mountains, seashore, etc.), location, name and activity (boating, wildlifeviewing, fishing, swimming, etc.). reading reviews online of various campgrounds Ideally, for a camping trip for two, you want somewhere quiet, where the sites aren’t packed too tightlytogether.

Embrace the outdoorsYour regular weekends away might not be spent sleeping on the ground, but if you’ve never camped as a couple, the key is to really embrace where you are and the experience as a whole. You might be used to hotels or bed and breakfasts when you head out of town, but camping can be a great way to bond. Let’s face it; what could be more romantic than watching sunsetsover the lake, snuggling up by the campfire (roasting marshmallows of course) or cuddling in your tent?

Wine Bring some romance with youJust because you’re spending the weekend outdoors doesn’t mean you can’t bring some romance with you. We suggest candles, a bottle (or two) of your favourite wine and a cooler packedwith all the fixings for some romantic meals.

Talk about what you want from the tripEven if you think you know your partner well and what they would want from a break away, avoid assumptions. He might not be the adventurous type when it comes to travel, or he mightbe more into a cross-country road trip than a villa in Tuscany. Talk about what each of your ideal scenarios are when it comes to your vacation and then find a way to come up with a planthat works for both of you.

Do your researchdo your research so you know what to expect. Read reviews, talk to friends who have been there and aim to choose the best option for what you’re both looking for.Make a note: Do the planning and research as a couple. Don’t take on the task solo or let him do all the legwork. The more you plan together, the more fun the trip will be.

Be willing to compromiseThere will be times when he wants to do something you’re not keen on. Maybe there’s an excursion he’s really excited about or a day trip he wants to go on. Unless it’s something you’redead-set against (sky diving, bungee jumping), make an effort to do some of the things he wants to do. Then he can accompany you when there are things you want to do that aren’t his firstchoice.

Don’t expect perfectionIt may rain the entire time you’re away, or you might not fall in love with your tent and surroundings These things happen and the key is to make the best of any situation or your trip willbe ruined. the more laid-back you can be, the better the trip will go.

Most of us confuse lust for love It's not easy to determinewhether Or not you are being carried away By the heat ofthe moment the thrill Of the chase or that your ready to takeit that one step further and commit so how do you decide ?with All the hype of 50 shades ROM com's and celebrity

love affairs its very easy for us to have unrealistic Ideal onlove and relationships and While camping out in front of thetelly daydreaming about latest heart throbare we missing out big time ?for most love and sex go hand in hand And we often

feel more comfortable to jumpinto bed someone we have to know And havesome rapport with ' I mean its all good if you're onlylooking for a fling Or one night stand and don’t mind theawkwardness of not feeling comfortable after sharingintimate bodily fluidsBut if you're looking for a relationship thenwhat's the way to go i mean you can fall in love withsomeone over time or does it have to be instant attraction? go with your gut /hormones or wait and seeit's a hard one to call but i do believe the right person is outthere for everyone you just haveto kiss a few frogs first ....then there's Love at first sightthere are many sceptics On thesubject of love at first sight How could you just look atsomeone and fall in love Is it even possible?? I believe youcould fancy someone like hell by one glance and livehappily ever after ... i really don’t know but definitelywouldn't doubt it (ill wait in hope)

Dating falling in love one night stands its all we have on ourminds most of the time gossiping and telling stories ofnights out and I am quite sure here are enough tales to betold but thestrangest one for me yet to date is one girl- friend of mineShe fancied this guy something rotten and I mean non stoptalking about him ,daydreaming analysing Every word hesaid to her and constantly asking my advice as I did withher when I Thought id found Mr. right anyway one day Heasked her out she was in her element couldn't contain herexcitement which I wouldn't blame her cause he was a bitalright Date night came anyway I thought she would haveto seek Medical attention or be sedated to calm her down.anyhow I wished Her good luck and re- minded her to fill mein on all the juicy details

back then we would have to wait till the next day for all thatso Anyway we meet up I ask her how did it go ?Some how I realised she wasn’t as enthusiastic About herfancy man as she was these last few monthsI sat and waited I didn’t want to push it but I wassecretly Thinking right wtf so she turns and tells me theyhad a great night got on well but she just got turned offhim I asked why did he try it on or go a step to faras we would say no she replied I just couldn't no matterhow i tried i couldn't she told me he hada horrible pair of cheap runners on and icouldn't tae him serious And it just dashed all her dreamsof the perfect happy everAfter ending wedding plans out the window a bridesmaid iwas not going to be ....I laughed thought it was hilariousand she Was joking but low and behold she was turned offfor life ...So this is where I wonder would dress sensereally put you Off to the extreme that you maybe turning down your soul mate over the high expectationsof romantic movies For me I would think maybe ...but mybiggest turn off Would be someone who cannot kiss Jesusgive me anything But a bad kisser who could enjoy happyever after with Somebody who cant kiss its the bestinclination of what's to come so ladies i say go with whatappeals to you floats your boat or rocks yoursocks and expect the unexpected just enjoy the love lustwhatever it maybe and fingers crossed it lasts

Online dating tipsI’m sure that many of us have gone onto many online dating

site or even Craigslist personals in order to find someone that we

can possibly date .Now I know for myself and for many others I

have talked to,

the results are not that good. There are several reasons for this that

I will touch upon and then give you some advice to giveyou the kick you need to make it work!.

1) Never join a free dating web site if you are serious about finding

a mate. Free For All' sites are often littered with incomplete

profiles, and not taken seriously by their membership .A free trial

period is good, but before making your choice of web site to join,

check out the member facilities. Do they have a chat room, video

chat, a forum, instant messenger etc. Be wary of dating sites that do

not allow you to search members before joining.

2) Setting Up Your Profile For Success

The first step toward beginning your online dating experience

is to pick a dating site and fill out your online profile. The first thing

you need to think about is the username you choose torepresent yourself on the dating site. Try to make your

username unique, fit your personality, and create it with the kind of

person you want to attract in mind. if you're online trying to find

your soul mate using a username like 'Mr1FunNight' you're

probably going to attract the type of attention you aren't really

interested in from the other users.

3) Do Not Lie

This is pretty self-explanatory, but if you create a profile that doesnot reflect your real life you are only setting yourself up fordisappointment.

4) Learn effective communication techniques

Your first email to someone you're interested in is the most

important one you'll ever write because it will help determine

whether or not they write back. It's important to personalize your

introductory email and spend more time asking questions(based on the other person's profile) than providing

information about yourself. Throwing a compliment in doesn't hurt

either (i.e. "I love your smile" or "your profile is one ofthe best I've read").

5) Make the first date memorable

The concept of success with online dating doesn't end with gettinga date. Your actual date is going to shape the other person's opinionmore than anything else to date. Thus it's important that you make a great first impression. As

thesaying goes, you never get a second chance to make great firstimpression. Be confident on your date. Confidence is one of thebiggest attractions you can posses.

6) Don't give up

As someone who's done a fair amount of online dating myself, Ican testify to the fact that even the worst cold streak -- say, 10 or20 consecutive email messages gone unanswered -- is usuallyfollowed by an unusual percentage of nibbles (say, 4 out of 8messages eliciting a positive response). In that way, at least, onlinedating is a lot like gambling -- you have to endure the bad-luckstreaks to earn a chance at the jackpot.AZ Love - Dating Blog Tips

Top five reasons to shop swimming costumes onlineBy: Anthony Ross

The moment summer comes; men and women are seen buying swimming costumes. Swimming and water sports happens to be the mostincredible ways of beating the heat. That's not the only reason why people shop special custom swim wear from Internet stores. The following are the top reasons whypeople believe online shopping better than the traditional method.

1. You save money: One of the greatest reasons why people buy swimming costumes like vintage swim wear is they end up getting cheaperdeals as compared to any brick and mortar stores. Though the online stores charge you for shipping, however, nearly all of the big stores give free shipping making thedeals cheaper.

2. You get wider selection: People are normally lured by any dissimilar kind of design while shopping at any local store; however, at suchjunctures they frequently find the issue of size. But when you have to buy any particular design retro swim wear at the online store, size would never be called as adeterrent factor in your way. What is water weight? Water weight is the amount of water your body contains. Our bodies on average aremade upof 50-60 percent of water. When you are first born, your body is about 80 percent water weight. As you getolder your water weight percentage goes down and settles in to about 50-60 percent by the time you are anadult. Studies have shown that the lean muscle tissues have much more water weight than fat tissue. This iswhy women and overweight people have less water weight than men and people of less weight.

Drinking water and other fluids can cause a huge fluctuation in your body weight. This is why many timeswhen you weigh yourself throughout the day you see fluctuations in your body weight. One litre of waterweighs about 2.2 pounds, so by consuming one litre of water you add 2.2 pounds to your body. So it is never agood idea to gauge your weight loss by simply weighing yourself on a scale. In order to get a true idea of howmuch weight you have lost you will need to measure your body fat percentage.

With that being said, water is a very important tool in weight loss and healthy living in general. Firstly, waterflushes out a lot of toxins out of your body which helps your body feel more energetic and improve yourimmune system. Also it hydrates your skin cells making your skin glow and look/feel healthier. In addition water hydratesyour muscles to help improve your muscle tone. When it comes to loosing weight, water helps in thatdepartment as well. Since a lot of food contains water, oftentimes if you are dehydrated you can mistake your body as being hungry instead of thirsty. This will causeyou to eat and put unnecessary calories in your body when all you need is to drink water. This works the otherway around aswell. You can drink water to suppress your appetite and eat less as your stomach will feel fullerwith more consumption of water. Besides suppressing your appetite, water also helps boost your metabolicrate.Studies have shown that water can temporarily increase your metabolic rate by up to 30 percent. Thisincrease in metabolism occurs becausewater enters your body as a cool liquid and then is heated up by the stomach. The process of heating upwatercauses metabolism to rise. This is why ice water is good for weight loss as the colder the water the longer ittakes for your stomach to heat it up. Water has a lot of benefits. It helps with weight loss, boost your metabolicrate, and improve your immune system, in addition to several other benefits. So make sure to drink at least 8glasses of water a day and be on your way to a healthy living. My name is Ronek Bhatt. I am 22 years old and a fitness enthusiast. Elegance is Refusal’ How the Glamour Girls Invented Elegance

‘Elegance,’ Audrey Hepburn said, ‘is the only beauty that never fades.’ The natural, physical beauty of the young woman does not compare to thegrace and apparently effortless elegance of manner that continues despite a woman’s age. With her statement, Audrey argues elegance – the mannerin which we wear our natural beauty and conduct ourselves – never fades because we can control it. But in modern society, we seem to haveinterpreted Audrey’s words differently. Rather than a manner of conducting ourselves, we understand elegance to be a style. It is the style ofclassiness, timelessness, and effortlessness. As trends of beauty change, elegance transcends. We have constructed our ideas of elegance to a largedegree from style icons of the past, such as Audrey Hepburn herself. We have elevated these glamour girls of the mid-twentieth century to legends, their styles to staples, their lives to names. And with all of the clout we give their elegance, we compare all women’s styles to this backdrop, eveneveryday Jane's, even our modern celebrities. Why do we put so much stock in the apparently natural beauty or elegant manner of women and theirstyle? Perhaps our value of these qualities comes from the likes of the sultry Brigitte Bardot, the sexy Sophia Loren, and the classy Ava Gardner.Or maybe these women became names of legend because they possessed these qualities. Whichever the cause or effect, these historic women areour legends of femininity. The glamour girls of the past are touchstones of style for all women. But they are not our only touchstones. So what isabout these glamour girls that strikes us as classy, elegant, beautiful? Where did these ideas of natural beauty and elegance of manner come from? And how do we see our own modern style icons in comparison? Are we fair to compare them – and ourselves – to the now larger- than-life ladiesof the past? Let’s take a look at what makes these iconic ladies’ style truly iconic. Perhaps their elegance isn’t what we have stereotyped it tobe.Ava Gardner epitomized the American glamour girl of the mid-twentieth century. Her curly, brown hair was always coifed, side-parted andpinned back. Her simple, natural looking makeup was complemented with a bright red lip and well-defined eyebrows. Her classy, sexy, pin-up stylehas become representatively iconic. Think of Ava and think of a small-town American girl whose natural beauty and talent elevated her fromgirl-next-door to Hollywood bombshell. Her sexiness is forgotten in the shadow of her glamour, her revolutionism lost in her iconicity. She wassexy, rebellious, a femme fatale and a constant scandal. Her natural beauty and elegant manner were more than just proper style; they were theelements of a truly revolutionary icon. Brigitte Bardot wowed the world as the ultimate sex symbol. She was different: in a landscape of so manypoised and classy brunettes, the sultry French blond wore her thick eyeliner and messy hair with confidence. She differed from the – at that point –familiar American glamour girl that dominated celebrity row. She seemed natural, with an edge, and her revolutionary style has become iconic inour eyes as the sexy, imperfectly perfect blond. If Ava represents the now-familiar American glamour girl and Brigitte is our sex symbol, SophiaLoren embodied the foreign, the sexy, and the elegant all at once. With her red lips and dark hair, the Italian moved between sexy and classy, pin-up and elegant. Sometimes with her thick, cat-eyed liner, sometimes with only minimal makeup, she epitomized effortlessness. Classy as she couldbe on the red carpet, she was aware of her sexuality and proud to flaunt it. Sophia was beautifully versatile. These are three classy ladies, right?Think again. They conducted themselves with elegance, but these ladies were sexy, free-spirited femme fatales. They were heretical of society, theywere controversial, they were talented, and they were different. Their elegance came in part from their natural beauty and in part from how theywore it. Their iconicity came from their confidence, their style, and their revolutionism. What these three legendary style icons have in common isthis sense of elegance. They knew the value of natural beauty and, more importantly, styling. Their styles are so iconic to our eyes because weforget their revolutionism, their ultimate sexiness, the effort behind it. We remember them as naturally beautiful, effortless yet elegant, and thechanging styles of modern-day counterparts strikes us as affected and emulated. Sometimes it seems like the classiness is gone, the sexiness isobjectionable, and the revolutionism is over-the-top. But are our modern-day celebrities really so different? Kate Middleton is, in a way, revolutionary in her classiness. Just when we all thought the style of old-world elegance, of royalty and tea-parties was worn-out and passé, Katecame along and surprised us with the elegance that we didn’t realize we missed. Perhaps we unfairly compare her to some of our glamour girlstyle icons: her style is purposely timeless where the glamour girls’ style was purposely revolutionary. But if we do, it’s an understandable mistake. With nostalgia for an era of grace, Kate represents the best of modern-day elegance. With her soft, natural-looking makeup and her well-matchedoutfits, she’s romantic, classy, simple, the epitome of elegance. A little less elegant but no less timeless,

Classic beauty

Jennifer Aniston never seems to get any older. No matter what colour she dyes her hair, no matter what red-carpet dress she occupies, thenaturally beautiful, down-to-earth, simple Jennifer is most recognizable as that blond in ‘everyday’ clothes, a t-shirt and jeans. Heck, she wasfamous on Friends for not wearing a bra! Maybe she’s not the embodiment of classic elegance like Kate Middleton, but Jennifer is our icon ofnatural beauty and simple grace. She’s breaking the mold of affected elegance and expensive glamour. She’s our girl-next-door. The funky, artistic Rhianna might not be the staple of elegance and naturalness; she seems to never look the same two days in a row. But her adventurousfashion and beauty has people wondering: is it a progression, an artistic statement, or what’s going on? Whatever her reasons, she has peoplerealizing they can do anything, be anyone, dress any way they want, make any change and still be themselves. Her dozens of tattoos, heraggressive performance face, her hard but sexy outfits create a powerful style icon. She’s hard, adventurous, wild; she might not be elegant butshe’s just as revolutionary as any glamour girl But if Rhianna is making a personal or artistic statement with her style, Lady Gaga’s got her beat. With Lady Gaga we know – well, at least we hope – she is constantly making a statement with her style. Deconstructing everything in her reach, she often and purposefully makes little sense. But her style makes an impact. No one is likely to forget her butchered dress or her Queen-of-Hearts head, if only because they terrified us. Her style is crazy, artistic, eccentric, and purposely ridiculous. She has had her iconic moments, butthey are not exactly the kind of moments we want to emulate. That meat dress must have smelled pretty awful. But whether we find in her stylesomething to emulate or not, her revolutionism, the thoughtfulness that she puts into her style is something iconic. She inspires us all to considerour fashion, our style, our manner, whether we will be watched by millions of people or dozens. Style can have an impact, and it is a great thingto remember .We can identify an infinite list of qualities exemplified by style icons, both our contemporaries and our legends. But the ultimatequestion still remains: What makes a style icon? Not only did Bardot impress and influence in her lifetime, her timelessness and individualityhave become touchstones for stylistic sexiness ever since. All modern women – both style celebrity and everyday Jane – can look to her as thewoman who defined sexiness. We see it as classy, iconic, definitive; her contemporaries saw it as revolutionary, mysterious, foreign. As the timeschanged for Bardot, her style went from unique to iconic. So too it must change for our contemporary icons. They are creating new styles for newtimes, redefining classic, though not all these style icons will stand the legend-making test of time. We see the style icons of the past as elegantand glamorous, but as Coco Chanel aptly said, ‘Elegance is refusal.’ Who knows, maybe in a few decades our own contemporaries will be seen as thedefiners of classic style as well. Kind of makes you want to start working on becoming a legend, doesn’t it? Excuse me, I gotta go define anew sense of timeless beauty. Be right back. By Sara Elizabeth Lahoud

Becoming Miss Click Clack ConfidenceThree Practices to Build Confidence Every Day By Sarah E Lahoud

You know her to see her, that beautiful, and über confident woman. Her heels elegantly clip down the pavement, while herhips sway in a perfect rhythm. She's carrying a sleek briefcase to work, but she's not weighed down by anything on her wayto town, and her clothes are pressed and perfect either way. Her hair is nothing short of coiffed and her makeup is so welldone, you barely notice she's wearing any. And on her face is the perfect, devil-may-care, I'm-on-a-mission, all-the-single-ladies pout. This powerhouse woman pounding down the street is the face of confidence. People jump out of her way, notwanting to thwart her graceful path .And her exuding confidence makes us stop and stare, comparing ourselves our ponytail or lazy-day leggings - to her packaged elegance. No one's going to ask her for directions, not wanting to interrupt herobviously important journey. But somehow, if we were to ultimately break up her powerful forward motion and dare to talkto her,we're sure she'd be all smiles and helpfulness, knowledgeably pointing us to streets we didn't even know existed. Asshe walks away, her welcoming and dazzling smile morphs slowly back to that perfect pout, as she continues on her veryimportant life's mission, completely unfazed by the interruption. We can see the confidence dripping off this woman, butwhat is it that makes her confident? Is confidence only one of her qualities or is it the package of all of her qualitiescombined that becomes confident? There's more to confidence than being elegantly beautiful or having a catwalk-worthystrut, but these qualities all hint at inner confidence. It is inner confidence that we perceive as true confidence, but it is awoman's outward qualities that define this perception. The confident woman can not only be an extrovertedconversationalist, but she also takes pride in herself, she works hard, and she thinks optimistically. She has confidence inherself, in her abilities, and even in those around her. We think of confidence as an inner quality, but it is because of herouter behaviour that she exudes it .There are a million and one ways to be a confident woman, and maybe it comes morenaturally to some of us than others. But we perceive Miss Click-Clack on the street as confident. Because of her outerqualities, we often assume that she will have a good job and a powerful handshake. We bet she wouldn't let an ex-boyfriendpush her around. We just know that she will get any promotion she sets her sights on.She is independent. She can stand up for herself, and perhaps most of all, she knows what she wants and how to express it.Now let's be realistic: Miss Click-Clack might only appear to be a confident, rule-the-world kind of woman. Shemight actually bike a paper route or clean-up dog mess for a living. Maybe, inside, she's not as confident as she seems. May-be she's really down on herself to her friends and family, or she puts no faith in herself or her peers. But with her outwardappearance and bold, friendly, and perhaps aloof behaviour, we see a woman who is the epitome of confidence .Thesegumption-driven qualities are hard-coming. They take a lot of practice. But when we see a confident woman on the outside,we perceive those confident inner qualities as well. And if she keeps practicing confidence, she will becomethat confident woman that she's portraying. So, let's take a look at what practices make a confident woman, and with these,we'll exude the confident woman every day. Let's think of Miss Click Clack, the most confident woman in the world: she'scool, almost aloof, but still friendly. We'll emulate her and act as confident as we want to be. Perhaps by emulating her, wewill develop those confident inner qualities as well. After all, it's the inner qualities that we really want.

1) Put Yourself TogetherPerhaps the first thing we notice about a confident woman isher walk, but since we cannot all change or control our strut(a little Beyoncé anyone?), the next best thing is ourappearance. We might at times deem it a bit shallow to

worry too much about our outward selves, but there's noreason to walk around in pyjamas all the time either. If weput a little effort into our appearance, we feel that much moreput together. If we put on real pants and a little lipstick, weshow everyone that we take care of ourselves and have apride in ourselves. So go ahead, put your face on. A littlebeauty is a big confidence boost.

2) Smile and Own YourselfThere's nothing that says confident like a smile. But there's acatch. Think about it: we usually smile when someone sayssomething humorous, when we're watching a romanticmovie, when we see a gorgeous sunset. All of these things

make us smile. But the smile of confidence is one we put onall byourselves. It is not reactionary in any way. We choose towear it. A confident smile indicates a level of comfort withourselves and in our own knowledge. Go ahead, own it, putyour game face on. Try wearing a smile all the time, whetheryou see an adorable puppy or not.

3) Work More, Stress LessThe confident woman works hard for what she wants, but shedoesn't let seemingly interminable odds stress her out. Sheworks hard to remain calm and to keep on top of herschedule. In the face of stress and struggle and everydaymundanity, let's remember that we're Miss Click Clack, thecoolest, most confident woman in the world. Put a smile on,

Dressing for occasionsThe much anticipated summer season is now underway. Be in summer full -flight mode byreviewing and updating your wardrobe Are you prepared for the ever important occasionsthat arise? Don’t be caught off guard this season by not looking super stylish and trendy. You don’t need to be a fashion-slave to look effortlessly chic and super-hot. Romance maynot be too far away, so having a few glamorous outfits at hand may be a life-saver.The first date calls for making a lasting impression on your love interest. It may be nerve– wrecking ,so boosting your confidence by looking your best could be the tonic. So, what will I wear? I feel you can’t go too far wrong with an eye- catching lace /floralprinted dress. Floral prints are huge this sea- son. If florals don’t float your boat, opt forplain bright colour dresses. Orange will still be a big hit for summer 2014 so don’t ditchorange from your wardrobe. Think bright coloured dresses but avoid anything too attentionseeking. Little Black dress is always a must have wardrobe essential item but it can lookdull and boring for a summer date. If you are going to sport the LBD look, theme thisgarment with bright accessories. Pink and black complement each other well. I wouldn’trecommend showing too much flesh. After all, bear in mind, that it is ONLY the first date.Your statement look for a first date should signify, elegance, not trying too hard and classy. The day-time job maybe getting monotonous, so inject some life into your work clothes.Have fun when choosing outfits for your career life. The classic black trousers and figurehugging blazer are a timeless classic. A black tailored blazer oozes sophistication. Themingblack and white together is a hot combination for summer 2014. A- Line skirts and pastelfitted blouses are very chic and stylish and give an air of femininity to summer officeoccasions. I am not a fan of ankle boots or shoes for the sunshine weather. Black kittenheel with covered toes sandals are a must have for the office look. These sandals are classy, elegant and look smart for the working girl. A trip to the city, to do the shopping or meetthe girls for a coffee means you need casual summer-wear. I fell head over heels in lovewith a white short cardigan that I recently purchased in Penney’s. I feel it is a key garmentfor the sunshine weather, as black can look too dull and gloomy. One of my favourite styleicons, Kate Moss sports the fringed clothing look. Think fringed dresses / fringedcardigans, if taking inspiration from the style princess. Coloured skirts or jeggings are alsoa good idea for a day out in the city. Make sure that you have enough t-shirts and fittedblouses for all casual occasions. I have seen lots of women wearing flip – flops and pumpsrecently. Be aware that flats and wedges are bad for your feet. Flip flops without a heelmay speculate pains in your feet. There is no proper support with this footwear. If youmust wear flip-flops, try If you must wear flip-flops, try wearing them for short intervals.Ideally, sandals with small heels and a strap are your safest footwear bet. Summer forecastsblitz and glam weddings. As a wedding guest, taking glamour to a whole new level shouldbe your priority. Keep up to the pace of un-mistakable and show- stopping style by payingattention to detail in dresses. In my opinion, fashion is very interlinked with detail. Lookout for un- usual and captivating detail in the dress. In my opinion black is the worst colourto wear to a wedding. I LOVE nude or silver sandals that match wedding outfits. Brightcolours signal the fun appeal factor, significant to wedding venues. Accessories can makeyour outfit look way more fun, creative and glamorous. Dressing for occasions this summershould be fun and exciting. I hope you will turn heads in trendy fashion. If you follow mytips, you will surely be dressed for success. By El Nidfhloinn

Your Own Worst EnemyIt can be hard to realize that you are sabotaging yourself as you try to achieve the life goals that you aspireto. However, self-sabotage is one of the more common habits that we engage in, and without evenrealizing that we are undermining our own power.

Understanding why you do this can help you to face the fears that keep you from finding purpose in life. When you second-guess what you want, or allow others to direct your actions, you are giving in to fearand giving your power away. Realizing that you are truly the architect of your own destiny can help you tobreak through the judgment of others and take responsibility for the direction of your life’s path.

Facing Fear

Many of the obstacles that you encounter are the result of fear, which holds you back from achieving yourdesires. Facing this is one of the most difficult parts of empowerment, but it is also the key to empoweringyourself.

So often, when we face fear, our initial reaction is denial, as this can seem like the easiest course of action. But when we do this, we are giving our power away, because we are not acting, but merely re-acting. It isonly by acting, and by facing fear with courage, that you can overcome life’s biggest obstacles.

Other People

One of the biggest obstacles that fear creates is self-doubt. This can manifest in your reactions to thejudgment of others, especially when you change your goals because of what someone else thinks. It ispossible to acknowledge what another person feels without letting it rule you, and derail your long-termgoals. Take in the advice of other persons whom you trust, and thank them for their input, but do not giveothers the power to decide your fate.

Taking The Step

Starting your journey to purpose really can be the most difficult part of self-discovery and realizing yourdreams. When you have spent so long allowing fear to hold you back, it can be scary to break free, butwhen you liberate yourself from the bonds of fear and self-doubt that so many impose upon ourselves, thepossibilities are truly endless. It is an exciting, overwhelming, and even, sometimes, a scary feeling untoitself. But it’s worth it when you are finally able to take control and make the choice of where you want togo in your life.I am a professional certified life coach in Denver specializing in Personal Leadership and Life Transition. My intention is to help YOU become the Director of Potential and Possibility in YOUR life.

Tattoo Removal Techniquesby Paul Silver

Tattoos have been with us for thousands of years and are currently fashionable, but what do you do if you fall out of love with atattoo you've had, or the subject of it? If you're living with tattoo regret, there are various options open for removal.

Surgical excision

A surgeon removes the skin holding the tattoo, and sutures together the surrounding skin if the tattoo was small, or carries out askin graft from another part of your body if it's a mid-sized tattoo. This technique is a last resort for large tattoos as for anythingother than a very small item, it is very likely to leave visible scarring.

Chemical peels

Also known as scarification, this is removing the skin above the tattoo with acid. New skin then grows to replace the damagedarea. Again, this can lead to long-term skin damage and scarring, so is not commonly used any more.

Dermabrasion

This involves rubbing the skin away with surgical versions of sanding discs. It is often used as a treatment to smooth out acnescars, or the fine lines from aging. When used on tattoos, it works by removing the top and middle layers of the skin, then thetattoo is removed surgically and the skin sewn back together. Like excision, this means the area may be scarred. It is rarely usednow that laser treatment is common.

Tattoo removal creams

There are various bleaching creams on the market which claim to fade a tattoo over 3-12 months of use. The advantage of thecreams is they are a painless method that can be applied at home. The disadvantages are they can bleach the skin around thetattoo, and can cause allergic reactions.

Many people claim the creams do not work at all. The manufacturers point out that every person and every tattoo is unique, sothe cream will work better for some people than others. The FDA has not approved any creams and have claimed they do nobenefit, so think carefully before using them.

Laser removal

The most common tattoo removal technique now the equipment is widespread, it uses focused laser light to encourage thedecomposition of the ink of the tattoo, which is then cleared by the body's immune system.

Different inks respond to different wavelengths of laser light. The easiest to remove pigments are black, blue and brown, whereas yellow, red, green, orange and white are more difficult. Professionally applied tattoos are usually deeper in the skin andcontain more colours, making them harder to remove and requiring more treatments.

On average, it takes 7-12 treatments to remove a tattoo, but it may take more depending on how your skin reacts, and on theparticular tattoo. It is usual to have a break of 4-8 weeks between treatment sessions to allow the skin to respond and the body toclear some of the pigment. In rare cases people have an allergic reaction to the decomposing ink so if you're having a lasertreatment, make sure you report any changes in how you feel to your doctor.

Although bloodless, the treatment is not pain free, and feels like being hit by a stretched elastic band or a mild burning, depending on your reaction. Most treatments will be done under a mild anaesthetic so they are not too painful, but the area willbe sore and will need careful cleaning and covering for at least a week after each treatment.
