to make this, our last year at Potomac, one of the

truly happiest we've ever had.

We would also like to say how very sorry we

are that Misa Smith, who has been in the Potomac

School since the kindergarten, had to leave in the

middle of her last year. She contributed greatly

to the class, and we miss her immensely.

We leave the school reputation in Patricia's capable honds and know she will do well with it.

To Adrian we. naturally bequeath some of Hendrick's height. To Genie we generously leave Sue's glamor, and as an addition to

Lydia's cute wardrobe Sherley. relinquishes some of her bounteous apparel. Louise falls heir to Franie's figure, while Barbara inherits Marianna's

drawl to broaden her own. Although she needs it little, we thought that Clara could use some of

Carol's joviality. Surely . Betsy will become a talented opera singer with the use of Ally's

high soprano, while the class will turn into good little students with the use of Judy's /1:lasses.

In case she needs it, all Peggy Ann has to do is ask and Sylvie will hand over the necessary bottles for natural blonde;

Frances faILs heir to Patsy's neatness, and Judy has the honor of acquiring Gerry'. ladylike daintiness.

To Kee with her neigh, Jean's ability to keep calm might prove useful and to all those scribblers Claire's artistic hands will come in handy.

To Beatrice, Hotel leaves her educational movie magazines and Carter will spare a rew of her outside interests to J .K.

Kris leaves her lionlike roar to velvet· voiced Dare and Shafroth be· queaths her permanent to Mory Marble (Mary Marble didn't have a permanent when we wrole this).

Ann can add Martha's chewed up pencils to her collection. And as a last and parling gift, we leave to lhe solemn and studious

eighth grade Betsy's contagious giggle along with Edith's dimples in hopes that it will make them merry next year.
