Steps to Complete Project:

Each group member should choose a role described on the front of this page.

Each group member should research their role, so that they can speak intelligently & demonstrate a strong understanding of the event during their radio report.

As a group, you should create a script of your radio full radio broadcast. Each group member should be responsible for researching and writing their part of the script. It is a group project, but you will be graded individually based on your portion of the broadcast and your script. Make sure you pay attention to what information you must include!

After you have your script you should rehearse/practice it to make sure it sounds good. This is the REQUIRED format that your radio broadcast MUST follow:

1. Introduction to the radio news broadcast by the program host2. Program host transitions to first correspondent (from The Besika Bay)3. First foreign correspondent’s report from Besika Bay4. Program host transitions to second correspondent (Northern Analtolia)5. Second foreign correspondent’s report from Northern Analtolia6. Third foreign correspondent’s report from The Ukraine7. Program host Reports on breaking news from the Balkans. The Eastern Crisis8. Program host thanks the listeners and signs off

To record your radio broadcast you are going to use one group member’s cell phone. • If you have an iPhone, use the “Voice Memo” app to record your radio broadcast. • If you have some other type of phone, I have no idea what works best.

*Remember… speak(clearly, loudly, & confidently)Once you have recorded your radio broadcast, you can submit it two different ways:

• Send it in an email from your phone to [email protected] (please include your group member’s names in the email)

• Send it in a text message. In the space where you put the phone number, put [email protected] (please include your group member’s names in the text message) and send it.

When you are finished, your group leader should collect this cover page and each group member’s script. Staple all 5 pages together and turn in your script to the tray.
