NORTH JAKARTA INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL BEHAVIOR CODE Within the guidelines provided by the NJIS Parent/Student Handbook, it is understood by all participants of the Grade 10 trip that: Students are fully supportive of the aims and objectives of the field trip. Students are supportive of the needs of the group as a whole and are sympathetic of the needs of others within the group. Visiting “off-limit” areas and flagrant curfew violations will not be permitted during the field trip. Please note: the supervisors have full authority to suspend any student from the field trip or certain activities during the field trip if the student’s conduct is objectionable or harmful to the group or themselves. Supervisors have jurisdiction whenever conflict exists. If conditions force changes in the itinerary or activities, the supervisor’s decision will be final. A student will be sent home to Jakarta AT THE PARENT’S EXPENSE for the following reasons: Continued disobedience. Flagrant violation of curfew. Causing physical endangerment to themselves or other students. Any student committing the above infractions will be liable to the regular disciplinary measures employed by the school, including suspension. A student will be reported by the supervisors of the field trip to the Headmaster for disciplinary measures upon return to school for the following infractions: Minor breach of curfew. Continued failure to meet requirements of the field trip program.
