Principal’s Report
Issue 3
1st March 2018
Monash Health Dental Services have been at CSPS
last week and over 80 students have taken the
opportunity to have a free dental check-up which
involves screening the children and providing them
a report to take home to the parent/carer. The
report includes whether or not the child needs any
further assessment/treatment and contact details
of where they can get services from. The students
received a ‘goodie’ bag after their visit which included a new
toothbrush and information on caring for your teeth.
Yesterday some of our student school leaders participated in ‘Leadership
Activities’ at Westall Community Hub with students from Westall
Primary, Clarinda Primary and Mentone Park Primary School. The
students undertook activities around things such as being a leader
instead of being a boss, planning events and activities and how to work in
a team. I know our country and future is in safe hands after spending
sometime with these students and listening to their ideas and messgaes
Principals Report Cont.
Currently we have 25 visiting student teachers from Monash University, Clayton Campus gaining experience
from our teachers. They are spending time in each level learning from our expert teacher how to deliver
quality lessons and engage students.
We have a new person working in the office Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Please pop in and say hello
to Mrs Catherine Schrank.
Our International Day is coming up very soon
Save the date.
Our main event is on Wednesday 21st March.
More information coming out soon.
