The cat is out of the bag. Employees are the source of most frauds in Indian firms.
The global average of most common perpetrators by Junior employees of the company is 39%, however in India the figure is 61%. And there is a reason behind it. With a population of over a billion people, the competition to get a job is fierce. Most of these frauds start right in academic environment for campus interviews. From fake training programs, illegally obtained certifications, copied and borrowed coding projects to fake work experience – candidates go to any extent to land a decent job. But the problem does not stop there. Once inside the organization, junior employees engage in various frauds and cyber-crimes. Right from copying sensitive and confidential data, violating IPR by downloading torrents, surfing porn to engaging in misconducts with other staff, there are lot of challenges on hiring fresh workforce.
“37% of frauds in companies across India have been conducted by senior or middle management”

Process of Clean Exit Clean Exit has three levels:
Level 1: Certification (Mandatory) In the initial stage, participants, whether students or jobseekers or employees, voluntarily commit to be ethical at workplace by enrolling in the Clean Exit Rating platform. The participants are to undergo online training on ethical conduct at workplace and get certified by Clean Exit. This stage is required & mandatory. Level 2: Verification & Insurance (Process followed by companies) The participants verify their social media accounts. Verification is highly recommended as many companies prefer verified candidates for placements. The verification allows opting for insurance against any proven loss / damage caused by the participating employee. This is optional but highly recommended. Level 3 – Rating (Process followed by companies) This level is for use by companies / recruiters and allows the candidate to be rated by the employer / institution for their behavior. A student can request their rating score after gaining work experience with at least one company.
