Once the stone has been fitted, it is essential to carry out a final clean on the surface. This is carried out in order to remove any residue left after the fitting and any surface residue. Fila recommends FILACLEANER for the final clean on the surface, a neutral detergent with strong cleaning power.
Product: FILACLEANER mix 1 part product with 30 parts water (for normal level of dirt).Amount needed: based on recommended ratio of 1:30 1 litre per 50 m2).Application instructions: Sweep the surface and dampen with water. Dilute FILACLEANER in water based on how soiled the surface is, apply to surface. Leave for a few minutes. Scrub the surface with a soft brush or using a floor buffing machine with a white pad. Wipe away the residue using a cloth or a liquid vacuum cleaner, then rinse with water.

Dilute one small cap of FILACLEANER in a bucket of warm water and scrub normally. Do not rinse.
To restore or boost shine:To restore or boost shine use FILACLASSIC, a natural wax made especially for polished or honed stone. Dilute with water and scrub normally. After a few hours, polish with a soft cloth.
To remove stains or acidic substances:Colour stains: FILASR95 removes colour stains caused by coffee, felt-tip pen, dye, etc. Rust stains: FILANO RUST remove rust stains from the surface. Ideal for: indoor and outdoor flooring, indoor and outdoor coated surfaces. Product: FILASTONE PLUS (or the water-based version FILASTONE PLUS ECO)Amount needed: 1 litre per 30 m2 approx. Application instructions: ensure the surface is clean and dry, then apply the undiluted product evenly using a brush or a similar applicator, not forgetting the joints. 10 minutes after applying, fully remove the excess product from the surface with a dry cloth or paper towel.
MAINTENANCE
Proper maintenance will ensure your surface is free from dirt, remove any stains which have started to penetrate the surface, clean acidic substances, restore shine to the surface, etc. Proper maintenance will also ensure that the condition of your surface lasts longer.
Normal cleaning:For scrubbing the surface, we recommend a neutral detergent with strong cleaning power. FILACLEANER guarantees a fast and effective clean, and does not affect any treatment that has been used on the surface. Dilute one small cap of FILACLEANER in a bucket of warm water and scrub normally. Do not rinse.
To restore or boost shine:To restore or boost shine use FILACLASSIC, a natural wax made especially for polished or honed stone. Dilute with water and scrub normally. After a few hours, polish with a soft cloth.
To remove stains or acidic substances:Colour stains: FILASR95 removes colour stains caused by coffee, felt-tip pen, dye, etc. Rust stains: FILANO RUST remove rust stains from the surface. Silicone removal: FILAZERO SIL removes silicone marks and residue. Acidic substances: FILAMARBLE RESTORER is the perfect solution for restoring small, honed and polished marble or travertine surfaces which have been stained by acidic substances (Coca-Cola, lemon, wine, etc.).
