UK Feasibility Studies Competition

• The Technology Strategy Board proposes to stimulate innovation across its core technology

areas to help ensure that small and micro businesses in the UK are well-equipped to respond tosociety’s current and future challenges.

• We have allocated up to £2m to invest in feasibility studies lasting up to three months, eachcosting no more than £33,000 in total (up to £25,000). Projects may be collaborative or carried

out by a single company.

Nordic Environment Finance CorporationInvestment Fund

• The NEFCO Investment Fund aims to promote financially viable environmental projects. Theseare defined as projects that contribute to the improvement of environmental conditions in the

region while generating sufficient revenues to cover their costs.

• Priority is given to projects that have substantial regional effects: for example, reducingpollution in the Baltic Sea and the Barents Sea, or reducing transboundary airborne pollution.

energy networks

• The 2011 annual work programme for grants in the field of trans-European networks (TEN) -area of energy infrastructures (TEN-E) - will encourage the effective operation and development
