Clearcase Client (UNIX) Installation

Mount the ClearCase release area from the admin server and mount it on the current server (with the help of SEE Hosting Team)

cat /etc/fstab

mount -t nfs eseesn60.emea.nsn-net.net:/vol/eseesn60_src/ee_delivery_ux/ee_releases_ux/clearcase/releases/clearcase /mnt/cc_rls

Check the disc space. If required request SEE Hosting Team to extend the Logical volumes.

/dev/mapper/vg00-lvol1 >>> +2048

/dev/mapper/vg00-lvol4 >>> +10240

Reset the password for the VNC and restart the vncserver

Password should be the short name of the server i.e. cdeecc07 for cdeecc07.china.nsn-net.net

Restart the vncserver

/etc/init.d/vncserver restart

Login to the Client server through VNC viewer

For IIM Installation

Go to IIM installable directory and start installing

Select the IIM Version

To start IIM

./opt/IBM/InstallationManager/eclipse/IBMIM

Click on install to start with ClearCase installation

Click Repository to add the ClearCase repository file

Select the repository files

Select the Package

Read and Accept the license

License host: 27000@bheeccl50.apac.nsn-net.net;27000@bheeccl01.apac.nsn-net.net;27000@beeeccl01.china.nsn-net.net

Provide the Registry server host for the client.

Provide the respective LinSEE or ChoSEE registry regions

Mount the required mounts as required.i.e. vobstg and viewstg
