Maintenance Instructions for Windows OS

This document is to give instructions on particular maintenance tasks that might be required for NFL Sunday Ticket Web Client users. The following instructions are being provided for in this document:

Clearing Cache on Chrome

1) Click on the icon to open the Settings menu to open the dropdown in the upper right corner.

2) In the dropdown, select History:

3) In History menu, click on the button.

4) This will open the following menu:

a. Users can also press the hotkey combination Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to go straight to Step 4.

5) To clear all of the browser cache, select “the beginning of time” and check all of the boxes.

6) Clicking will clear the browser cache according to settings selected.

Clearing Cache on Firefox

1) Click on the button to open the Firefox Menu in the upper right corner.2) Click on the Options button:

3) Click on the “clear your recent history” hyperlink:

4) In the Clear All History menu, change the “Time range to clear” option to “Everything” to ensure everything is cleared out:

a. Users can also press the hotkey combination Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to go straight to Step 4.

5) Click on the button to clear the cache according to the user selected settings.

Clearing Cache on Internet Explorer

1) Click on the icon in the upper right corner to open the dropdown menu.2) Click on Internet Options in the dropdown

3) Click on the General tab, if it is not already defaulted there:

4) Click on the button the open the Deleting Browsing History menu.

a. Users can also press the hotkey combination Ctrl+Shift+Backspace to go straight to Step 4.

5) Make sure that the top option (Preserve Favorites website data) is not checked.

6) Select all the other options, then click on the button.

Clearing Cache on Safari1) Click on the Edit header menu option:

2) Select “Empty Cache” to open the Prompt:

3) Click on the button to clear the cache on Safari.

Clearing Flash Cache1) In order to clear the cache in Flash, start by opening the Control Panel.2) In the search field, type in “Flash” as shown below:

3) Select the Flash Player (32-bit) option to open the menu.

4) Click on the button.

5) Make sure that “Delete All Site Data and Settings” is checked, and click on to delete the Flash cache.

Allowing All Cookies on Safari

1) Click on the button open the dropdown menu.

2) Select Preferences to open the Preferences menu.

3) Click on the Privacy icon on the top of the menu, and select Never Block cookies option.4) Reload the webpage for the webpage to take to the new settings.

Disabling Pepperflash on Chrome

1) Click on the icon in the upper right corner of the browser to open the dropdown.2) Select Settings in the dropdown menu.

3) Click on the “Show advanced settings…” option

4) When the Settings menu expands, click on the button.

5) Click on the “Disable individual plug-ins hyperlink” under the Plugins part of the menu.

6) This will open the following menu:

a. It’s possible to skip directly to step 6 if the user enters, “chrome://plugins” directly into the URL.

7) Under Adobe Flash Player, click on the Disable option for pepflashplayer.dll.
