We offer convenient parking along our private street. Bus riders can wait in our
community room (located next to the office) for the motor coach that will pull up to the
curbside. Please do not park in the tenant parking spaces.

Hello to Members of the Clearview Terrace Travel Club and all interested people, Are you ready for some new adventures? We search for new experiences and fun destinations and we think you will enjoy the selection of trips we are offering this year. Something for everyone! Our trips are first open to the residents of Clearview Terrace and then we invite the public to join us. Please share this flier with your friends, neighbors, and family. The more the merrier! Please remember to complete the emergency contact form found in this packet before your first trip. We will keep it on file for every trip that you take with us this year. Sign up as soon as possible as we expect some trips to fill fast. Hope to see you this year!

Our bus is usually available to board 15 minutes before departure time. It is helpful if you are here to board the bus and select your seat before we leave.

Some Tips for Travel…
Dress comfortably and wear comfortable shoes are first and foremost on your list.
To relieve the stress of sitting down for hours, plan to stretch your arms and
move your legs. Take advantage of rest stops to get out and walk.
What's chilly for you might be too hot for another passenger. We try our best to find a
happy medium temperature. Bring a small, lightweight blanket and dress in layers. A
blanket will give you your very own temperature control tool. Or just remove or add
layers. And it is hard to predict the temperature outside the bus!
If you like to nap while we travel bring along an inflatable neck pillow. You will avoid a
cramped neck.
A folding carry-on bag is ideal for storing purchases and makes it easy for you when
the trip comes to an end to find all your goodies in one place.
You are welcome to bring bottled water or beverage and snacks.
Never pass up the opportunity to use the rest room during rest stops…you never know
when you will see another rest room that is not moving.
Be patient, while traveling; enjoy the journey, not just the destination.

Emmy Award-winning television comedienne Vicki Lawrence is one of the most beloved television personalities of her generation. Best known for her eleven years with The Carol Burnett Show and her role as Mama in the sitcom Mama’s Family, this very funny show is a mixture of stand-up comedy, music and observations about real life. This two-woman
show is one half with Vicki Lawrence and the second half with Mama.

Join the CLEARVIEW TERRACE group and travel to the Dutch Apple Theatre nestled in Lancaster’s Amish country. A year-round dinner and Broadway show package featuring professional performers from across the United States and a live orchestra. All- American, all you can eat buffet before the show features chef carved roast beef, sliced chicken breast, baked lemon pepper cod and sliced pork tenderloin. Dutch Apple is in their 35nd year of offering top quality productions and award winning food. Gambler, Nathan Detroit, tries to find the cash to set up the biggest craps game in town while the authorities breathe down his neck, meanwhile, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, laments that they’ve been engaged for fourteen years. Nathan turns to fellow gambler, Sky Masterson, for the dough, and Sky ends up chasing the straight-laced missionary, Sarah Brown, as a result. Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually everyone ends up right where they belong. We begin our day in Annapolis with a guided tour of the Historic District, which includes a guided State House Tour and WWII Memorial. Experience the sights from the comfort of your seat! Next, we will enjoy lunch at a local restaurant, Blackwall Hitch. Enjoy your choice of Lump Crab Linguine Skillet, Eastern Shore Chicken and Grits Skillet, and Shrimp & Risotto Skillet Following lunch, we will board the Harbor Queen at the dock for a narrated cruise of the Annapolis Harbor and the banks of the US Naval Academy. Enjoy getting on the water and catching a glimpse of the Bay Bridges. This 40-minute cruise is a great way to see Annapolis from a different perspective and a great way to end our day!

Megan, 80 foot paddle wheeler river boat
on the Choptank River. We will board at
11:45 a.m. to sail at noon. We turn
around in Salisbury, Maryland and return
to the dock at 3 p.m.
While cruising enjoy AYCE crabs, steamed shrimp, corn on the cob,
Maryland crab soup, cole slaw, fried chicken, clam strips,
dessert and non-alcoholic beverages. New this year - Cash bar
to purchase beer and alcoholic beverages.
When you sign up please let us know if you prefer to sit on the lower deck in air
conditioning or the covered open air upper deck. We have reserved seats on
both levels.
We have a brief rest stop on the way to Hurlock and a fast food stop for the
return trip.
