Clearvision overview
Clearvision Lighting has a 15-year pedigree in ergonomic and environmental lighting. We have been at the leading edge of the industry in adopting new technology and design techniques to improve workplaces and reduce energy consumption.
Our appreciation of daylight has been apparent from the beginning. One of our first innovations in ergonomics was Virtual Daylight® in 1997, which has since been copied by many other companies.
We focus on lens technologies (some patented) that are central to our most successful products. We find that they’re an effective means of optimising design between efficiency, glare control and useful light distribution.
Clearvision is a project lighting company with a focus on customer applications for our products. We therefore provide a full technical support service–including Dialux (plug-in available), AutoCAD, emergency test and control systems.
Please contact our technical department for design and product related questions and sales for project quotations. All queries can be addressed to [email protected] or on 01252 344011.
The Oslo is manufactured to a high specification, featuring a
die-cast bezel and spun aluminium reflector. Electronics are
housed in a tough polyamide (30% glass fibre) remote box which
can be clipped onto the back of the body or detached to reduce
installation depth (standard body only). Ceiling fix via 3 flip-out and
screw down arms (not low void body). Available with integral LED
emergency facility and PL-R eco lamps (open version only).

Juno is a LED downlight for ambient lighting
that has a higher output than a typical 2x18W
compact fluorescent fitting, but uses up to 25%
less energy. The Juno is based around the
Philips Fortimo DLM light module and has been
independently tested to provide 2055 lumens in
the open version and 1800 lumens when fitted
with the ADS flush IP54 diffuser.
The bezel is finished in a semi-matt white finish
with a specular aluminium reflector. The heatsink
is cast aluminium with a black finish. When
partnered with a dimmable driver the Juno is able
to achieve even higher levels of efficiency by
utilising AM (Amplitude Modulation), as opposed
to PWM (Pulse Width Modulation). At 50%
dimming, efficiency increases significantly from
64 ll/cW to 74 ll/cW.
Due to the use of remote phosphor technology
the Juno achieves excellent colour consistency
between identical products, equal to that of
conventional compact fluorescent lamps.

The Heuron is a static downlight for general area lighting in
offices, hotels, homes, schools and hospitals. Being sealed to
IP65 it can be used in wet areas, such as bathrooms (Zones 1
& 2). The light output is close to that of a 35W mains halogen or
a 20W IRC 12V halogen.
The Heuron is an excellent product for area lighting where
the intensity of halogen is not required, but low energy and
maintenance costs are important. The aluminium bezel has an
ultra thin profile that minimises visual disruption to the ceiling.
The Heuron is supplied with a remote fixed output driver. A
driver for multiple Heurons is available on request.

The Europa is a utility LED static downlight replacement
for halogen or low energy fluorescent products. Common
applications would include corridors, circulation space, toilets &
bathrooms and residential type spaces. It is sealed to IP65 and
therefore suited to (zones 1 and 2) wet areas. The 7W standard
version emits a 70 degree beam of good quality light at around
49 exit lumens/circuit watt. The Europa complies with new part L
requirements with 56 ll/cW.
The Europa is supplied with a fixed output remote driver. A

The Shalo is a surface mounted fitting requiring no ceiling void.
The luminaire is suited to general area lighting in commercial
and residential projects, in particular where there are solid or
plaster ceilings. Being sealed to IP65 it can be used in wet
areas, such as bathrooms. The slim (20mm) depth makes it an
ideal luminaire for areas with low ceiling heights.

The Yuko is a 14/21W recessed adjustable downlight for
architectural applications in commercial or residential
projects. This LED downlight is the equivalent dimensionally
and aesthetically to a 35/50W conventional low voltage

alternative. A raised seat for the LEDs and tilt (20°) facility
allows the Yuko to wash walls, features or pictures without

The Emstar is ideal for the standby emergency lighting
function – DC operation, long life, low power, and precise area
coverage are all suited to LED technology. The LED is a 6000k
1W or 3W (OA/CD) Luxeon, driven off a small remote driver
that will fit through the 40mm cut-out. The battery is a 3 cell
3.6V NiMH which is more environmentally sustainable than the
standard NiCd battery. The bezel is powder coated aluminium
with an operational indicator light. With the growing prevalence
of issues surrounding the life of low mercury fluorescent lamps
running in emergency mode, the Emstar is proving a smart
option.
