Rules:

1. Open to youth up to age 19.

2. Weigh-in will be from 12:00-2:00 PM Central Time.

3. All sheep, ewes and wethers, must have a Scrapie tag as required by the state of

Alabama. No sheep will be admitted without a scrapie tag.

4. Out of state lambs will need current Veterinarian Health Papers.

5. Mail entries by Aug 27th

. Late or Show Day Entries $5 per lamb extra.

6. In the Market lamb show - Ewes and Wethers may be shown.

7. 4 Lambs per exhibitor in market lamb show.

8. 2 lambs per exhibitor for the Ewe Show

9. Lambs with evidence of active fungus will be rejected at weigh-in. If fungus has

been treated and is healing the lamb may be shown.

10. In the ewe show: Ewes will be shown by the following Breed classifications: Black

Face (Suffolk, Hamp, etc.), White Face (Dorset, Southdown, etc.), and Natural

Colored (any breed with black or gray fleece). Classes may be divided by weight.

Only ewes born after Jan. 1, 2011, no 2010 yearlings.

11. All ewes will be shown as commercial NO PAPERS REQIRED. Supreme and

reserve overall champions will be selected. Ewes may double enter; market show

and ewe show. Fees for both will be required if ewes are shown in both areas.

12. Showmanship classes will be divided upon entries.

13. Prize money will be set on day of the show. Full payback is not guaranteed.

Fees are $10 per market lamb, $5 Market Ewe, and $5 for showmanship
