The Spa Selection
The Spa SelectionBy Cleveland Collection
The Cleveland Collection was the first
major tour operator to understand the
growing importance of Spas as a holiday
component, and the first to offer a spa-
only brochure.
Throughout the years, we at The
Cleveland Collection have monitored
our clients needs to provide the very best
tailor-made service and, when it became
apparent that spas were high on the
priority list, we set out to find the best
spas and the best resorts.
All our staff are passionate and exceptionally
knowledgeable about spas and recognise
their ever-growing importance in what
many people look for in a holiday. So many
of us live high-powered, over-stressed lives
and long for a holiday where our muscles,
as well as our minds, can be soothed.
Some of the spas we have included are
pure Destination Spas where clients go
to refresh, rejuvenate, relax, maybe lose
weight or detox… but most of them are
Resort Spas attached to sumptuous five
star properties where guests can enjoy
beach-life, golf, tennis, sailing and superb
food alongside a little wellbeing. Many
are ideal for families and offer children’s
clubs and baby-sitting facilities, both of
which allow parents time to revel in their
relaxation, often in the spa.
Whichever type of spa meets your
demands you can be assured that it has
The Cleveland Collection seal of approval.
For tailor-made travel, it is hard to beat
our experts - all our staff have travelled
extensively and, because we are committed
to regular site inspections, we only ever
give recommendations and suggestions
based upon personal experience.
All our holidays are designed specifically
for you and your family’s requirements.
We understand the different demands
of a holiday, from couples & singletons
to groups of friends & families. We listen
carefully to you in order to understand
your needs and then work closely with
you to ensure that these are met, and
because our knowledge and experience
allows us to negotiate the best rates,
we ensure that you not only get your
perfect holiday, but also excellent value
for money. Whilst we are a Preferred
Partner of British Airways, we also offer
the scheduled services of other renowned
airlines such as Malaysia Airlines, Thai
Airways, Virgin Atlantic & Eva Air, so
that you can benefit from the fastest
connections and most direct routes.
Rest assured that - with The Cleveland
Collection’s Spa Selection - you will have
the most relaxing holiday ever, knowing
that your wellbeing and enjoyment is our
top priority.

on offer are conventional medicine and diagnostic procedures which
can test for such things as hormonal or thyroid imbalances.
The Hotel: A dedicated holistic retreat and wellness sanctuary set on
the south east coast of Koh Samui. Landscaped into the mountain

The Spa: Espace Henri Chenot is the reason guests swarm to this
wellbeing spa in the Dolomites. Run by the man himself, many of the
treatments are based on the precepts of traditional Chinese medicine
married to state-of-the-art medical research. Each guest is allocated
a doctor, nutritionist, energy specialist, hydrotherapist and masseur
who assess and monitor progress throughout their stay. Food plays an
important part and - while delicious - it is spartan, which is why guests
often opt to attend Dominique Chenot’s cooking demonstrations!
The Hotel: In the grand style of Belle Epoque hotels, the Merano
Palace lives up to its name with marble columns, glittering chandeliers,
mirrored walls and glorious gardens. Located in a traditional spa town,
it is a short step to the boutiques and cafes and to the cable car into
the mountains where fantastic walks and hikes abound. However, few
people move from the comfort of the public rooms or the sprawling
sofas on the garden terrace, with most of its hundred plus rooms and

centre is based on healthy digestion so certain foods are banned,
guests are taught how to chew properly, Epsom salts loom large and
careful monitoring of all treatments and programmes ensues, with
guests seen by the doctor on alternate days.
The Hotel: A traditional health and wellbeing centre situated on the
edge of picturesque Lake Worth. Housed in a large wooden chalet-
style building, it is exceptionally comfortable without having to bow
to the vagaries of fashion and has, over the years, attracted a large
number of aficionados who return on an annual basis for a thorough
health check up and detox. A large deck by the lake is the ideal place

there are the usual scrubs, wraps and massages but many of them use
indigenous ingredients such as local mineral-rich clay, which has been
detoxifying skin and bodies since the time of the Aztecs.
The Hotel: Overlooking the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez, this
stunning award-winning hotel lives up to its name, Las Ventanas al
