Specific Objectives
• Reduce the load on the north-south axes transport system;
• Increase the reach of the public transport system;
• Modernize the fleet of buses, using Bio Fuel;
• Reduce travel time;
• Increase the safety to pedestrians: public lighting, signaling;
• Improve road safety;
• Implement bike ways and sidewalks;
• Implement a boulevard along the axis, using native plants;
•Transform a former service zone into a mixed-use area increasing
density and providing services;
• Recover three existing urban parks along the axis.
Main Objectives
•Transform a former Federal road into an urban avenue, increasing the integration between districts in the city;
•Modernize the public transport system and broaden its access, specifically reaching the north, central, and south areas, following measures to assure environmental conservation.
