Teacher will introduce Click, Clack, Quackity Quack to student and state we may read the new book if we have time. Teacher will introduce “Click Clack Moo” book to students again and read the story again. Input from you: The teacher will read first note from cows on the chart paper with the students. Teacher will guide them in reading pointing to each word while reading using lots of expression and fluency. Teacher will introduce word families (first vowel in a word and the letters that follow, d-ear) students change the beginning sound or letters to make new words.

Instructional Procedures:

Focusing Event: Students will sit at the carpet. Teacher will introduce Click, Clack, Quackity Quack to

student and state we may read the new book if we have time. Teacher will introduce “Click Clack Moo”

book to students again and read the story again.

Input from you: The teacher will read first note from cows on the chart paper with the students.

Teacher will guide them in reading pointing to each word while reading using lots of expression and

fluency. Teacher will introduce word families (first vowel in a word and the letters that follow, d-ear)
